Studding Services
This male lion is offering studding services, for a price of 2 GB OR 350 SB. Lionesses must have a minimum of 5% fertility to breed.

This male lion has 15/15 studding slots left open this week.

* Selecting an item to send with the request will remove the item from your hoard and apply it to the stud if your request is accepted. If your request is removed or denied for any reason the item will be returned to you. Multiple items can be sent at the same time providing they do not cancel each other out in their effects.

* Breeding to a mutated stud does not affect your chances of conceiving a mutated cub unless the stud is a variation of piebald or primal.
Biography
Adofo was a young cub when Gold, my former king, bought at the trade center and raised him. At first Adofo was shy and timid and nervous and unsure of himself, but slowly he got bigger and fiercer. And then he got evil. He befriended a wolf, killed his friend Tamarin, then killed Gold, the king, and stole the throne. He now leads the pride and is evil. Gold regrets getting Adofo and encouraging him, because he thinks it spoiled him and got ideas in his head. His wolf friend died, but now he protects all wolves he finds. But not lions.

Gold paced around, eyes darting from side to side. Other lions shuffled around him. A scarred-up king dragged a small cub away, the cub's sobs quickly fading as the lion left. Gold glanced away from were the sobbing cub has disappeared, and spotted a skinny, ugly lion clutching some GB in his paws. He shoved it at a king, who shoved a piebald adolescence at the ugly lion. The ugly lion snickered and turned away, nipping at the adol to get it moving. The adol looked desperately over her shoulder at the king, but he'd already hurried off. Gold sighed. He hated the trading center. It was such a sad place, seeing other lions leaving their homes and going to crueler ones. But he needed to be here- he needed to get a heir. he'd had a feeling a couple of days ago as he looked at Shadow, his soon-to-be-former heir. He wouldn't be good enough. No, the Pride needed someone else. Someone stronger and more impressive. Shadow was a great leader, but he cared too much about others and would put his pride in danger if he became king. Suddenly, a lion loomed up in front of him. Gold stood up quickly. The lion nudged a couple of stunning cubs forward. "Any good enough for your heir?" The king asked. One cub specifically caught Gold's eye. A double rosette primal. The small cub was looking around frantically, as if he had no clue why he was here or what he was doing. He looked afraid. The other cubs did too, though. But the primal was impressive. "How much is that one?" Gold asked, pointing to the primal. He looked strong, he was a mutie and had double rosette, and he looked like he would make a fine king when he wasn't shaking with confusion and fear. As Gold pointed to him, the small primal cub looked up with frightful, confused eyes, as if he'd just been yelled at for no reason at all. Gold tried to look nicely at the cub.
"Twelve GB." The lion replied.
"Hmmm.." Gold said thoughtfully. "Yes, that one will do." He nodded towards the primal, who's eyes widened even more.
After paying, Gold picked up the primal gently and started to carry him away. The small cub let out a squeak of alarm and curled up into a small ball like a frightened caterpillar. "Wh-where are you bringing me?" He whimpered.
"Don't worry, cub," Gold purred. "I'm just bringing you to your new home."
"M-my new...home...?" The cub looked confused.
"Yes- your home is with my pride now." Gold explained.
"B-but what about my other Pride?" The cub was starting to look distressed and horrified. "W-will I ever see them again?"
"I don't know," Gold admitted.
"But...but what about....my friends and...and my...." the cub trialed off and started whimpering. "And your pride...is strangers I don't know..."
"Don't worry, cub," Gold said reassuringly. "You'll get used to my pride fast. And you'll make plenty of new friends."
"O-ok.." the cub said. Gold continued walking in silence for a while. Then, suddenly, he said, "Hey, cub, how do you like the name Adofo?" He asked. The cub's seller had informed Gold that the primal cub had no name. He'd just now thought of a good one. "It means 'warrior'."
The cub looked thoughtful. "Why are you naming me a name that means 'warrior'? I'm not a tough and strong warrior." He said, looking sad suddenly. "Other cubs made fun of me for being so...weak and cowardly." He hung his head.
"Oh, little cub, you'll be the strongest and toughest warrior ever one day," Gold promised him. "You'll show those nasty cubs you're a strong and mighty beast."
"Really?" The primal whispered. "I...I like that. I want to be a strong warrior one day. I want to be named Adofo."

Gold laid on his back, staring up at the midnight stars. His pride was asleep around him, but Gold couldn't fall asleep. He was feeling too guilty about not making Shadow the next king, and replacing him with a small cub. Shadow had already been skipped by Gold for the next king, and now he was being skipped again. Gold was impressed by how good he was handling it. Suddenly, a small paw poked him on the side, and Gold rolled over a bit, and found himself eye-to-eye with Adofo, his new heir, who didn't know he was heir yet. Gold blinked in surprise. "Adofo," he greeted the cub quietly, "What's wrong?" The cub looked nervous.
"Well...uh..." Adofo began, "It's just that other lions have been looking at me weird ever since I've come here, and whispering at each other. I've been hearing 'king' a lot recently when I manage to hear anything they're whispering- does it mean I'm in trouble with the king- with you?" He looked up at Gold anxiously.
"No, no, Adofo," Gold smiled at the cub. "You're in no trouble. I was meaning to tell you sooner. Sit down, cub, sit down." Gold waited for Adofo to lay down beside him and then cleared his throat and pointed at the night sky. "See that star, Adofo?" He asked, pointing a claw to one of the brightest shining stars in the sky.
"Yeah," Adofo whispered. "I see it. Why?"
"Well, Adofo, do you know what happens when someone dies?" Gold asked.
Adofo looked puzzled. "Well...they stop breathing, and then we bury them, and then they stay still in their grave forever." He replied slowly.
"Yes, but when someone dies, a star appears in the sky- a bright star that everyone in the pride can see. That star represents the former king or queen, so everyone can remember them. Other lions that are not kings or queens have smaller stars. We don't know who's star is who, but we can take comfort in knowing there star is up there and shining down on us. But Adofo, after a king dies, do you know how another king is appointed?" Gold tilted his head at the cub. Adofo scrunched up his face. "Uh....some lions who want to be king fight?" He offered. Gold laughed.
"No, not necessarily, though that could happen if a king or queen didn't do what they normally should of. Do you know what that thing is?" Gold didn't give Adofo a chance to reply before saying, "They have to have a heir. A heir is a lion that will become king next after the lion passes away, or retires. Sometimes the heir challenges the king to become king even sooner. Do you know who the heir is in this Pride is, Adofo?" Gold tilted his head at the cub.
"Uh..." Adofo squeaked, "No?"
"The heir is you, Adofo." Gold purred.
"Me?" Adofo squeaked, a little too loudly. Dracona, who was laying with her belly to the sky, snorted softly and murmured, "Hmmmmmmmm zebraaaa" then went silent.
Gold smiled. "Yes, you. You're going to be the best king ever known, Adofo, don't you worry." He said, patting the cub on the head with one of his big paws.
"B-but...I'm....too weak!" Adofo whimpered.
"Well, with the right battle practice, you'll be the strongest lion ever known to living kind." Gold said with a smile. "How about we start out training tomorrow? You'll be the strongest, toughest, bravest, and most impressive king ever, Adofo." He added as the cub looked skeptical. "Everyone will listen to you, and you can boss others around and punish traitors. Nobody will make fun of you, nobody would even believe you were once a small, 'weak' cub."
Adofo's eye kit up with sudden interest. "Bossing others around? Lions respecting me? No more bullying? That sounds...wow, amazing. I want to be king!" He announced suddenly, his eyes burning with a strong ambition Gold had never seen before on the small cub's face. Gold smiled. "I knew you had a strong little guy inside of you, Adofo," he purred. "Now, go get some rest. We'll begin training tomorrow."
Adofo nodded, and walked off, head and tail high was uncharacteristic determination and eagerness. Gold smiled. Adofo was going to be a good king.
β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”Adofo's First Training Day (Adofo's view)β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”
Gold crouched in front of Adofo. The small cub narrowed his eyes. Today they were wrestling. Suddenly, Adofo saw an opening in Gold's defenses and he went for it! Success! He growled in pleasure. Gold smiled and huffed, nudging Adofo away. "Great job! You're a talented fighter already!" He complimented. Adofo beamed. "I'm going to be the best king ever!" He announced, lashing his tail. "I'll claw out the throats of anyone who gets in my way!"
"Whoa, whoa, settle down, bud." Gold laughed. "Let's not be clawing anyone's throats out yet. You're only on your first day of battle training!" He cuffed Adofo around the ear. The primal cub squealed and went toppling back. He sprung up again, growling playfully, and rammed his head into Gold's chest. Gold gasped dramatically and collapsed heavily on the ground, panting, "Oh no, the mighty king has defeated me!" He made a small dying noise, then went limp with one last over dramatized sigh. Adofo giggled a bit, then straightened himself up, rumbling in a fake deep voice, "I've defeated the king! I'm your ruler now! Ha ha! Bow down to me!!"
Gold snorted out dust and gently pushed Adofo off. "In your dreams, pippity-squeak," he teased.
Adofo let out a yowl of mock anger and flung himself at Gold. (Tbc...)
