The Constellation Kingdom
The kingdom of the Constellations is much different than any other lion group out there. Their hierarchy is far more diverse, and their social status is sometimes tricky to be in. They are from Greek descent and their harsh ways of living sometimes show through.
There are three groups in this kingdom so far, all run by three lionesses that are considered as goddesses. They were blessed by the stars above, therefor giving them names that correspond with the stars' own. The groups are named after the constellation that the goddesses' stars' names are from. They were chosen by the stars because of their leader mentality, beauty, and their fair acts.
The blessing that was giving to these lionesses is unknown. Some speculate that they are never able to get hurt/earn scars. Others believe they are immortal. Time will tell.
Although these three groups are in one kingdom living together, they don't really interact with one another. They have their own separate land so they don't have to live so closely to each other. This is so each goddess can watch over and keep track of their own residents.
It is also said that when the goddesses have their own offspring, they are blessed by the stars to become the next goddess of their respected group. If they have a male cub, he is considered the next guardian over that specific group. Guardians (sub males) are the males that protect their goddess and their residents.
Though it may seem like the goddesses hold all the power in this kingdom, they are not the most powerful or godly. That title belongs to the God of this realm. He is the king of the whole kingdom and is proud to have his goddesses (queens) to be blessed by the stars above. The citizens of each group look to him as their god and savior, as they do to all the goddesses.
The God may setup his goddesses with another king from a different kingdom if he wishes. Though he plans this act very carefully and chooses who he believes would be the best fit for the job. This may be a rare occasion, maybe something to create allies over.
Sometimes the groups will come together when they hunt or battle other kingdoms, keeping the peace between all three of the groups.
The god is the ruler of the kingdom, though is he not guaranteed to be blessed by stars like the goddesses, it is still said that he might've been given his role by a higher power. He has absolute authority and makes most of the rules with his goddesses.
The goddess is a role blessed by the stars. Whichever lioness is blessed with this role, is given a new name which is the star's own. She is an elegant leader who is beautiful, fair and skilled.
Heirs are the next generation of the kingdom. This role is given to the God's and Goddesses' offspring. They are respected members and even have as much power as their parents.
Kurios are the guardians of a group. They can be appointed to that position or born into the privilege. They are highly respected for their skill and bravery. He watches over the lions in his group like a hawk and even goes nights without sleeping due to it.
The aristoi are the favored members of the group. They are seen as the upper class lions and are treated as such. They are given this role by their goddess. Many believe this role is given to the most beautiful or handsome lions in the kingdom. Maybe for their rare coats or piebald markings, the goddesses don't tell this though.
The artisans are respected members and are seen as the middle-class of the group. They are given this role for their skill. Some believe this role is given due to bravery or maybe even beauty of their coat.
The metoikoi are mainly regular citizens who are given this role for just being a member of the group. They aren't anything special in the goddesses eyes though they try and prove themselves through training and hunting.
The paidí are the children of the group. They train to become hunters or warriors throughout their young lives. Cubs and adolescents are both considered as children until they reach two years.
Helots are the laborers of the group. This role has to be given from the goddesses as a punishment for laziness, going against the law, or if they seem to be no use of the kingdom. This role is normally temporary, but can be permanent based on severity of these actions.
