In the depths of the underworld, there exists a pride of lions that is believed to be blessed by Hades himself. These majestic creatures are known for their dark coats that blend seamlessly with the shadows of their haunting realm. The male of this pride, named "the forsaken," was bestowed with a fluffy dark mane by Hades, signifying his chosen status. Only those with dark black patches on their bodies, symbolizing the darkness within their hearts, are considered the favored ones by Hades.

those without the small, clean heritage or DARK coats are shunned, and cubs born without the mark are often met with a tragic fate. It is said that the presence of any lion with bright colored fur, such as pink or bright orange, within this pride is a rarity and a sign of impending doom.

King: The leader of the lion pride, responsible for making strategic decisions and protecting the pride.

Queen: The mate of the king, assists in making decisions and nurturing the cubs.

Heir/the chosen one: seen to be picked by Hades themself. Also considered the prince/ss. This lion will be the next in line for the throne. If a female, the next queen.

Huntmasters: In charge of organizing and leading hunting expeditions to ensure the pride's food supply.

Guardians: Protects the pride from external threats and intruders, serving as the first line of defense.

Healer: Responsible for tending to the injured or sick members of the pride and providing medicinal support.

trainers: Educates and trains the younger lions in essential skills such as hunting and social behavior.

Scouts: Explores and surveys the territory to assess potential threats or opportunities for the pride.

Trainees: cubs past the age of 5 months. They are adolescents who are trained into whatever role the king chooses for them to fit into. Their trainer usually is the same role as what they will be in the future.

Cubs: general cubs of the pride. Most cubs do not live past 5 months if they are not seen as fit.

Mothers: mothers of the pride. They are seen as unimportant, but they are tolerated by the forsaken. They are not treated fairly.

Elders: Wise and experienced members who offer guidance and counsel to the leadership of the pride.
