The Golden Sun Pride

Decree of The First King:
1. One lioness shall be named Queen and one alone. This lioness is to mother the future heir. A King has the right to chose a new Queen at any point during his rule.
2. Only cubs of royal blood may hold the tile of Prince/Princess. Only a Prince of the King and Queen may ascend the throne.
3. Non-royal lionesses with cubs shall hold the title Mother. Non-royal lionesses without cubs shall hold the title Daughter. Non-royal males shall hold the title Son.
4. All male cubs are to take a single namesake from the King's name. All female cubs are to take a namesake from their respective mother's name.
5. All available lionesses must hunt for The Golden Sun Pride.
6. The King must sire an heir by the age of 14.
7. Once sired, he must find suitable wild lionesses for his heir to choose a Queen from.
8. No lions of foreign ancestry may enter The Golden Sun Pride.
9. At the age of 10, all lions must move into The Den of The Elders. The title Elder shall be bestowed upon them and they shall act as brood mothers for the pride’s cubs.
10. Ascended Kings must NEVER procreate with any lioness sharing the same bloodlines. He must also chose a Queen as soon as he has ascended.
11. A true King remains impartial to the events of the world. Decisions are based on the good of the Pride.
