Drug-Induced Rainbow Terror's Den

General Information

As I am several decades over eighteen, there is the very distinct possibility that I am old enough to be at least half the playerbase's mother, probably. I am a coffee-guzzling solo indie game developer. I am working on a long, slow-burning, very dark fantasy RPG that will have multiple horror elements. My engine is RMVXA. Once I am a bit closer to having the demo finished, I will say more about it.

I also work from home for the Lyric Opera of Chicago, which is not half as interesting as it might sound; I work in ticket sales. No, I do not live anywhere near Illinois.

I like to think I'm pretty approachable, laid-back and extremely difficult to offend; failing that, I am marginally more tolerable than the apocalypse and I'm almost as reasonable as a cybernetic donkey. I do believe that even though I'm one of the least interesting people alive, I am somewhat more easy to deal with than the apocalypse and slightly less hard-headed than a cybernetic donkey. No, I do not take myself too seriously and you shouldn't either, unless I'm actually being serious- which you'll be able to tell. Probably. Maybe. Who knows?

It doesn't matter at all in the grand scheme of things, but I am a polyglot who speaks English, Korean, Japanese and German (along with Stephen King's High Speec of ch and Language of the Dead.). I am also very much a "gamer," with a preference for older RPGS, tactical and post-apocalyptic games. I adore all things related to horror, fantasy, psychology and dystopia, in addition to being someone who is fascinated by mythology and history, especially ancient Roman and Greek. Musically-speaking, I prefer metal in all its forms, as well as punk and industrial. I have been a practicing herbalist for around eighteen years now and when I have the time to do so, I enjoy treasure hunting, exploring ghost towns and abandoned mines.

I am pretty open-minded and willing to talk about just about anything, other than politics- while I am (very unfortunately) American, it is by birth only and I do not follow any political ideology. So, for the sake of not starting arguments about things of that nature, it is much easier and better to simply refrain from talking about them.

Another set of worthless facts about me would be: I have studied abnormal and criminal psychology, law enforcement and criminology for several years. I am very fascinated by the human mind and as far as I'm concerned, nothing is sacred when it comes to uncovering the secrets and taboos of its workings.
