After the fall of the waiting king, Limbo, the pride fell into chaos. There was no noted heir for the pride that laid far under the high stones that raised towards the skies.

And so, the seers called apon the ancestors that laid within the river nyx. For days apon days the seers chanted and wished for a sign, any sign for which cub within the pride too be chosen- or, if fate choose, which cub that laid outside the pride too be chosen.

And after four days the seers were answered. Asaroth would be their new king.

The pride took a drastic change soon there after, the previously unwatched borders were strengthened and pushed into the nearby territories. Asaroth took pride in all he had and all he wanted- and he would ensure everyone else knew this.

Quickly, the "waiting" pride was known as the "The pride of the spirits" as anyone who grew close to the borders could hear the whisperings of the ancestors within the nyx river..... whispering of the desperate Asaroths pride and the prophecy which established him as king.
