TENERI'S LAWS
I.
No cubs, lionesses, adolescents, or elders are to be Killed if found undesirable. They must be sent to a nature reserve.
II.
All Heirs must be bred from a brood or witch.
III.
lethal must be sold, never kept for they are bad omens and bring nothing but death.
IV.
Hybrids are at the bottom of the pride, and are fed last.
V.
When a King is appointed, he must breed all lionesses inside the pride before he chooses a mate.
VI.
if the king is found killing cubs, a lioness may challenge him for the throne. but she may not bare cubs if queen.
VII.
inbreeding is forbidden and punishable by exile.

many, many moons ago, a small lion was kicked from his pride, and forced out on his own to make another. this lion- was White, that's it, white. referring to his white face. he put on a kind, gentle facade for moons, welcoming lionesses and trading them. finally- when he gained the lionesses he thought fit, he showed his true colors. he started killing ugly cubs, and mothers who produced too many. for moons he did it, killing or chasing away poor cubs and post-pregnant mothers.
finally, when the lionesses who lost their cubs had enough, they up and left. he seems to take a step back, furious with this, but mostly at himself.
he marched into the cub's cavern, standing tall in front of fossil-pelt, his oldest lioness, and high brood. he knew it wouldn't be long before she retired into a grave, but he had only one thing to ask "to keep this pride alive and keep them from leaving, train Hyena-moss" he glanced at her. her name bitter on his sandpaper pallete. hyena-moss had gone against him, had a cub of her own... and he knew she planned to have another- just to rub it in his face.
"train her to manage the cubs when they are born, and manage how to sell or trade them" he looked back at the frail old lady. she nodded.
It's been four moons since, while she did as she was asked- she passed away. leaving at all to Hyena to take care of all these cubs. although- it's starting to look up. White-star had brought her a cub to train for brooding, and she will happily do so.
he has lost himself in his old age, slaughtering many cubs and ending up not coming out of his cave, only leaving to roar at lionesses or glare into the woods, he swears he sees a lion in the trees.
finally, he rests, after a very sad fight with the new king of this pride he now rests amount the stars.
Laboranth-stars reign
reign location: Teneri Jungle
reign duration: 3 years.
a Simple king, mated to Dusk-fur the moment he became the king. his first daughter was a maned lioness, his first princess married off. As he grew older he gained an interest in more colorful lionesses, despite the fact his mate was very plain. he welcomed a lioness into this pride named Vanhoss, and she turned what used to be the called queens den, into a royal cove. the witch calls it home and so does her witch-mates(lionesses needed to breed special combo bases). from this witch was born Blooming-feathers born with Haliotis fur and bismuth eyes she is was his fuel for his addiction.
after a long while, Dove-cub was born, the heir. he was born to Vanhoss, and is a kind, sweet and loving boy with magnificent fur and a strange piebald mutaion. after he was born, Laboranth-star bonded with him in a fatherly way. and before Dove was even king, he had already helped create the 5th law.

As a new and young king, he struggled. This lionesses grew hungry and he didnโt know what to do. Each day passed and he fell more and more away.
His mother started to allow lionesses to leave, to disperse among prides and soon even left herself.
Now, after moons of hardship he has left his pride to find something, the sea. He hopes he will find his place among the salty water.
the last of his pride is gone, the walls of a once prideful place built on generations now empty. void of the laughter, the roars, the purrs, and the symphony of family. he stares at the crevice. he sighs, turning to leave- but he is stopped by a familiar face, Cheetah run.
"I know you told me to leave... but we grew up together Dove-star, we are the last pride born of the Teneri... please tell me come with you"
he sighs, accepting her demands. their travels take them to the river, fallowing the downwards flow in hopes of reaching the sea.
behind them, lionesses follow- few have talked to Dove-star yet he has refused to commit to any of them. Cheetah-run notices as they trail far behind, some of them have round bellies.
When lions started moving into the Jungle Of Teneri, and all sempt well. But the lions worshipped all but Vorkil, finding him a useless god. This angered him, but Teneri assured him his time will come.
Cubs started being born with blessing from the gods, Teneri blessed them with special pelts, eyes and gave Broodmothers the gift of communication with her. Bashi blessed king with primal heirs, long claws and thick manes. Tasha blessed them with white fur, lionesses with maned and extra wombs.
But Vorkil... Bless him, he tried, but each cub came out with suffering, not making it past 5 months, or lacking a tail, teeth, it was sad. Teneri saw this and watched as her son became more and more upset. She decided to give him a far more important role.
She came to a Broodmothers, an old lioness who lived in the mountains and told her "tell your king and neighbors Vorkil is no longer a king, but a punisher. Give them these rules- if they break them they WILL be punished"
And so she did, and from that day forward laws where set in place, and Vorkil became the god of punishment and lethality

The sun is low, the sky closing its eyes for a long sleep to come, your paws sinking into the soft jungle floor. Your home and territory is vast and colorful, the scent of soil, undergrowth and chilly nightfall gentle and seeping.
Your peace is gently interrupted by a colorful figure, with pink and blue shades covering his slim figure. The lion spots you, his eyes lidded and soft as he speaks in a charming tone.
โIsโฆ this your land? I apologizeโฆ Iโm traveling and I seem to have gotten lost, can you point me towards the sea?โ

Teneri Pride legends
Legend has it, the goddess of Zephyrs once had three cubs a top a mountain. The first born was Bashi, a tall lion with strong body and mind. He brought tall trees and fierce rocks. The second born was Tasha, she was kind and soft- bringing rivers and grass with plenty of life. The last born was Vorkil, a skinny and rude little monster... These three lions ruled under their mother, the goddess of the days, nights and birth.When lions started moving into the Jungle Of Teneri, and all sempt well.
