Evergreen Pride Description

Two large trees create an arch over this neighboring pride’s territory, the arch is as beautiful as the pride members and King that ruled the mountainous terrain.

“You better hurry your rump up, you do not want to keep my king waiting any longer than he has.” A soft but firm voice sounds from behind. Turning you see one of the many lionesses, you can’t help but admire her beauty, maybe, just maybe one day you can get your paws on one of her many heats. Shaking your mane to rid yourself of those intrusive thoughts, you nod to the lioness in acknowledgement, trudging along the mountain faster than you had before.

The king was laying amongst the luscious green cave, turning his head to look at you. He stood and made his way over to you, his footsteps soft.

“You are late, I was thinking you've been snatched from poachers.” He voiced, the wordiness clear in his rugged tone, sending chills through your mane. You let out a deep rumble of apology, to which he just tilted his head at.

“Please try to be here on time.” The king said as he turned to lounge with the females that gathered near the glistening, blue pond.

You sat there in shock, you forgot that this was not the same king that lived before.

This was a new king, a much kinder one at that. You stood and bid your farewells, already planning future visits to this large mountainous territory.
