You wander into the desolate and warm area. How can an entire pride live here? The prey here was sparse and the surrounding volcanoes quickly made it much too warm. But soon you saw a few Cubs scurrying through the stones, chasing each other through a self-made parkour. The lionesses lay on large slabs and seemed to just enjoy the warmth while a few watched you and the cubs. And then there, further in the distance, you saw Killer, the king of this pride, along with Nirah. They almost seemed to be in a flirting competition from what you could hear. And the lion doesn't even seem to be doing so badly, considering the blush on Nirah's cheeks.
“What do you want?” asked a beautiful lioness with fur that reminded you of a blood moon. You explain to her that you are passing through, looking for a new home for your Pride. You offer little treasures you found along your journey as a sign that you didn't intentionally invade this territory. You didn't want to start a war between the Prides.
When you can then continue your journey, you feel the king's piercing gaze on you. It felt like his claws were digging into your flesh. The warning was clear. If you dare attack anyone here, he will reveal why he let a demon devour his soul.
