| The Territory | |
 | Where the savannah meets the jungle, new trees fan out their branches. They are tall and numerous, dappling the ground with shade. Towering above them is an ancient kapok tree. It looks out of place among the young trees, with its canopy large and dense enough to throw the surrounding area into darkness. Its roots are strangely tall and thin like walls, scarred from whatever destroyed the old jungle, creating shadowed alcoves that radiate from the tree’s base. There is movement in the dark, a striped pelt. Tigon?... No, it’s King Demophon and his Queen Heron, coming to investigate their visitor. As they come nearer, you notice other signs of the pride: a cub tumbling through the underbrush, a group of lionesses curiously watching behind a veil of branches. There’s a twinkle in the King’s ice blue eyes, and the kapok tree hums with his shamanic power. His pride thrives here between the old and new growth. |

 | King: He makes the decisions and keeps the pride safe and happy. Queen: She's the second most powerful lion and may only breed to the King. Heir: Sub male who will take over once the King retires. Guardians: Sub males who protect the pride. Guardian lionesses must have August or March traits or have maned/primal mutations. Lead Huntress: The most experienced Huntress, she organizes hunting parties. Huntresses: Lionesses hunt for food and back up the Guardians. Herbalists: Lionesses who take care of sick and injured lions. Herbalists must have Good personalities. Shamans: Lionesses who read the stars/weather patterns and apply altering potions to lions. Shamans must have July traits. Elders: Lions 14+ years old or disabled; they watch over cubs and pass on their knowledge. Cubs: Lions under 2 years old; they also run Beetle Battling. |
