{The story of Korina}
Four beings stood, arguing abound their summons. A meeting had been called- a meeting of the gods. Well, every living thing is aware that the gods themselves cannot be bothered to attend the summonings of the higher powers, so they send their representatives instead. This makes it a meeting of the godly deities named lions. The gods selected lions to be their creature, as lions are symbols of power and bravery. The first lion selected for this meeting, was Tartarus, a hybrid lion of partial leopard heritage, representing the realm of eternal punishment. The second, was Hesperus, a beautiful lioness of magical coloring, representing the evening star. The third, was Achlys, a strange lioness dappled with white spots, who was representing the mist of a dying mortal. The fourth and final, was Jinx, a normal looking lion with no peculiarities, representing the jinx of the realms. These lions, viewed as gods under these circumstances, were tasked with resolving a conflict between their kinds. After moons of arguing, agreeing, and planning, the deities created “The Kingdom of Korina” or sometimes named “The Deities Olympus”. Korina is split into four sections, one for each type of lion. The first, is watched over by the diety of Tartarus, and consists of lion-like hybrids. The second, is watched over by Hesperus, and consists of lions with peculiar coloring. The third, is watched over by Achlys, and is made up of lions with strange mutations. The fourth, is the lions who research topics for the supervisor, watched over by Jinx. Without a proper structure of power, the kingdom would break apart, so they selected a ruler; a diety above all others, who would supervise and assist the sections of Korina. Minus some border disputes, and political arguments during the selection of an heir for the supervisor, the kingdom of Korina has thrived under the following laws and roles.

{Roles}
{Leader}
The leader of the clan will make the major decisions. They are to be listened to. The leader may be a lion or a lioness, and should be respected just as much as the other pride members.
{Deputy}
The deputy is selected by the leader when either the current deputy dies, the leader dies and the deputy becomes the leader, or the current deputy had to stepped down. If a leader dies, it is the deputy who becomes the new leader, so choose wisely.
{Medicine lion}
The medicine lion/lioness is trained in the art of healing. They know herbs, and will cure any sick or injured lions within the tribe. We need them. Without them, the sections would die. These members receive special messages from our ancestors, and must depict them.
{Medicine apprentice}
The medicine apprentice trains under the guide of the medicine lion. This will be a young cat who receives a spiritual message as a cub. They will train to learn and understand herbs and healing.
{Warrior}
A warrior is a member of the pride who protects, hunts, and fights for the section. They will train young apprentices in the arts of hunting and fighting. They must be prepared to give their life for their section, and will be loyal to their section of birth. When they become old enough, they will retire to become elders.
{Apprentice}
Apprentices train under the guide of warriors, to understand fighting and hunting. These are young cats who have the ambition to continue on, and will take their warrior assessment to become a warrior when they are ready.
{Cub}
Cubs are newborn kits, who will stay in the nursery with their mothers until they turn 12 moons old, where they can either become a warrior or medicine apprentice depending on previous visions or dreams.
{Queen}
Queens are the mothers of the kits, and will be watched over and carefully taken care of by the rest of the section while they are nursing, and until their kits become apprentices.
{Elder}
Elders are members of the kingdom who have retired from service, and wish to do nothing more than sleep, and bask in the sun. The leader will decide if they have earned this position, and will not allow lazy warriors to retire.
{Mediator}
The meditator is the lion who will settle disputes among the sections. Some have unique features that depict them including: two tails, no claws, extra toes, Etc. They will not be trained, and when they are born, they will receive a marking behind their left ear to demonstrate their position. They may learn by observing.
{Deceased}
The deceased are citizens who have perished due to unfair or troubling circumstances. These clanmates most likely died alone, and were not layed to rest properly. This makes it so that they are not allowed to ascend into the stars. Instead, they remain grounded, but still not visible to the living. Some decide to haunt and extract revenge in any way, while others are happy to have remained grounded, and stay to help guide other spirits and lions.

{The code we follow}
The lions of these territories are all guided by this code. Failure to comply with the code will result in the penalty of exile, or even death.
1- Cubs and apprentices will respect their elders, mentors, and leaders. They are wise. Seek them for guidance.
2- Brood mothers must name their cubs accordingly to the naming procedure. cubs will be named accordingly to their mycological figure. Brood mothers must also be prepared to give their life to protect their cubs. They are our future, and we cannot let them die.
3- Huntresses will not eat their prey while hunting. The pride must be fed first. If they are caught eating their prey before feeding the tribe, punishments will vary. It is allowed to eat with a patrol.
4- Intruders are to be driven away at the leaders order. If you have been sent away, you may not return unless fetched. It is against the code to shelter any intruders without permission of the leader, and can be punishable by death. Intruders who have been denied by the leader, and still return, will be killed on sight.
5- The leader will do what he or she pleases. The leader follows the code as everyone else does, and will choose their heir from their own offspring. The leader has full authority over the entire tribe, and may do what he or she pleases as far as killing, abandoning, or chasing away lions.

You spot a scarred figure in the distance. As you get closer, the lion approaches you, complimenting your beautiful fur. She leaves you with a bloody paw print as she exits your territory. Huh.
