Little snakebabes need less space, but should probably be handled a little more frequently (No idea if that's right)

Big snakes are pretty chill, and since they don't eat very often they don't poop very often. Like literally you can have a calender day that is your snakes "poop" day (Amazing)

I got most of the info I know from the Vivarium (Reptile/Amphibian specific pet store) near me, I'm not sure if there's one near you, but there's probably tons of stuff online about it

Hello, all.
I am Komainu, 20 years old, and lesbian. My girlfriend actually plays Lioden as well, and we have been together for a little over 2 years now.

The only snake my family's had before is a little baby corn snake (His name was Solaris since he was like, bright orange and sun-colored) he was about the size of a pencil, maybe a bit bigger. The little bugger was really fast, and he actually escaped and we never saw him again. That was back when my brother was still new to owning reptiles, though. I think if I were to get a snake, he'd probs be able to help me with anything I didn't know. I don't want a huge snake, since we don't really have the room and I don't know what I'd do when I move out of the house in the future, but I'm not too keen on the really little ones because they're so fast. I dunno, I just love ball pythons' little puppy-faces~

My brother's tried to stick with mostly space themed names for his herps. There was Nova the berber skink, Solaris the corn snake, Kinnara (Something to do with a celestial musician deity?) the bearded dragon, Paprika the really old adopted eyelash crested gecko (Neighbor couldn't take her to college so my brother was her caretaker), And now we've got Comet the bearded dragon. Nova, Kinnara, and Paprika were definitely the family favorites when they were alive. Paprika actually wasn't scaly, she was really soft and it was like she had sort of velvety skin, but she was really old. Nova was all sleek and smooth and one of my brother's fist reptiles bigger than a tiny anole, and she lived for quite a while. Kinnara was all spiky like a normal bearded dragon, but she was the biggest sweetheart~ She actually should have still been alive today, but a few years ago a firefly somehow got into her tank, and she ate it. We didn't know that those things are toxic until it was too late.

Comet's only a few years old, and he's a bit small for his age, but he's still a pretty good sized lizard, and he's pretty cuddly too. He actually jumps for superworms! Considering his tiny legs and generally pancake-shaped body, it's pretty impressive when he reaches 6-8 inches in a pure vertical leaps from standing still.

I think in general, it seems that bearded dragons are pretty cuddly despite being spiky and kind of off-putting at first.

I actually have a friend whose family has been fostering a baby alligator for the past few years until he's big enough to go with the adults at a local wild animal center. His name's Gator-Boy, and they take him for walks on a harness and dress him up for Halloween and he just hangs out in their house. XD He's about 2 feet long from snoot to tail tip, I think. These people also have chickens, a rooster, a chihuahua, a bearded dragon, and a chinchilla.

Lizards freak me out, I don't like their feet XD But I like snakes, which is just lizards minus feet. Those lizards sound super cute tho! A baby alligator sounds terrifying tbh! I'd be afraid of touching it! I used to have a friend who owned a chinchilla! The little bean was so cute and soft! But really fast and had sharp claws ;-;

I'd love to see pics of the Halloween gator! I bet he looks adorable in his little costumes.

Hello there :)
My name is Nathan and I'm a trans man. I've been on Lioden for about a month or so and I'm excited to see a thread like this ^^
I'm heading off in a few days to start my 3rd year of uni so I'm very excited haha. I'm also sitting down with my rat as I type this (He's trying to sit on the keyboard) and one of my passions is drawing ^^

Also, I put way too many smiley faces when I type else I feel like I'm being unsociable so I apologise for that :/

(There we go, some random things about me haha :D )

Nice to meet you too ^^
My rat's name is Hippo, a bit odd yes, but when he was born he was grey and pink coloured haha. He's my gorgeous baby, and a new dad as well so I'm proud of him :D
I tend to rant about my animals so do tell me to stop if I get too carried away haha.
Uni is great, I literally can't wait to go back up and see my friends again ^^ Although 3rd year is dissertation year so I'm really worried about that (I'm not an essay person haha) :D

Also, hello to new members!

Here's Gator Boy from Halloween 2013: https://scontent-lga3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xfp1/v/t1.0-9/1393477_10153453385120574_437866594_n.jpg?oh=d5fd91fc3f2b7a083c3b214be785243c&oe=568D9C4A
There's another one somewhere of him in a pink tutu, but I can't find it. He's like, ridiculously tame though. He's been raised by humans since he was a baby, and he probably thinks he's just a normal pet dog or something.

These people are like, crazy about Halloween. It's not a single day, it's an entire season for them. The daughter my age dressed as female Freddy Kruger with homemade steel claws, she and one of her little brothers worked in a haunted house for multiple scare-seasons, these are the people who make zombie-snowmen, and all kinds of crazy stuff. It's pretty cool, actually.

And their chinchilla is actually a tiny beast made of pure evil disguised in a fluffy exterior.

*Sees Gator-boy* *Screams*

He's so cute omg I need one omg I want 12. That's honestly so cool! What does he eat???

Are you telling me that Halloween isn't the entire month of October? Halloween starts on October first (At least for me)

That costume sounds so cool! It's amazing that they put so much effort into their costumes!

Chinchillas are cute, but they're kinda dicks, at least in my experience
