Effect on game play: Yes or No (Still debating)
- NO Lioness can have trouble with that thing flopping around as they run
- YES Lioness could have an advantage of hunting since the longer tail is a helpful tool for short turns and balance. Has better chance bringing in larger prey (Cheetahs and Snow Leopards use this technique) [Help on this factor from Silliness #43012]

Lethal: No

Flavor Text (Feel free to add your own!)
"As you walk through your den you feel something underneath your paw and see Cub squeal and scramble to grab their long tail. Oops..." (rainsorbet #79540)

"Cub wails and complains to you on how the others tug his tail and call him 'snake-lion'. You try and hide the amusement in your face." (rainsorbet #79540)

"You walk past only to see Cub twirling in circles mad, after their elongated tail. They catch it, only to fall over in a fit of giggles." (Cronos Zumaki #85554)

"You go to say hello to the bored female, she rolls over to her back but her eyes catch sight of her elongated tail and begins to bat at it. Ignoring your greetings." (Cronos Zumaki #85554)

I could see it making hunting difficult or impossible for the girl but if a male was born with it, then I could see it being an eyecatcher...especially with the right pelt/marking combos. Support

how about this "your lioness was wondering around patrol borders/hunting and his tail was grabbed by a crocadile and was streached it now has an enlonged tail" this will have a 3 persent chance of happening

i hope this helped

cheers lion858!

Tail elongation actually shouldn't impare hunting at all... If anything it would make them more balanced. If you don't believe me, look into the snow leopard. Their tails are longer than them and extremely thick and help them keep balanced while maneuvering up and down mountains after prey. So if anything the longer tail could give a hunting bonus... and with males it could give them a bit of an upper hand in the more mountainous explore areas by either improving their chances in fights or by simply improving their chances at finding random things due to improved balance.

@Lion858- Well um...it's a mutation not an accident and a body part gone wrong. I mean I know this mutation isn't real in lions but that doesn't seem very realistic in my opinion. Thanks though c:

@Silliness- Thanks for that, I also thought about it after I posted it. Cheetahs do the same it helps them with tight turns. So maybe we can make it an advantage instead of a negative effect in the game play? Sounds cool ^^

I think advantage would be better than a disadvantage on this one :P

the top picture could be edited differently I think, but I support! (mostly an artistic standpoint, but good idea!)
