Hello, Liodeners! We understand that some of you are wanting us to allow discussions in all languages on the forums. Our Code of Conduct states the following regarding that matter: "1.6 Do not write content in any other languages on the site except English. a) This excludes poems and quotes, and situations where permission has been granted by a staff member." It is too difficult for our staff to moderate every language that players may write in; however, we have compiled a list of all languages that players are allowed to write in within private messages, on the forums, and their respective threads only. If any languages are italicised, this means that a staff member who was fluent in that language is no longer on our team. The italicised threads will not be locked, though we do require assistance with supervising such threads via Modbox reports in case something is posted that breaks our site rules. If you see a language that you speak and it doesn't have any threads linked, feel free to create the thread in Free-For-All and link it to me so I can add it here! Alphonse, if you use Chrome, I believe it already has the option for you to translate pages into different languages. I don't believe there could ever be separate servers for different languages, as a server costs a lot of money to run, but you could always try suggesting it in the Game Development forum! Lisa, names in other languages have always been allowed, as long as they are not inappropriate or offensive! :) 0 players like this post! Like? |
