I'm fairly new to Lioden, but I've noticed that a fair percentage of players refer to Easter Eggs/EE as Carved Eggs/CE, which I do, too. Personally, the idea of lion Easter doesn't mesh with how I headcanon things working, so I think it would be a nice thing to officially change the name of April's currency to something secular. Since CE is already in use and generally understood, it's a good choice.
Changing the name shouldn't make anyone unhappy, but would be considerate for those of us who for any reason don't celebrate Easter or don't think it makes sense for their lions. I know not much is realistic on Lioden, but you've got to draw a line somewhere and I guess lions knowing human holidays stemming from just one human religion is where mine is!

Anyway, here are some points in favor of the name change.

As it stands, for people who don't like the idea of lion Easter, the rabbit plague is already distinct enough from Easter that the currency name is really the only element that gets in the way of any headcanons. The event's main themes - baby animals, fertility, flowers, eggs, etc - are common enough in Spring celebrations in multiple cultures that it's easy to imagine this month's holiday as something unique to the Lionden universe that is not Easter, just an analogue for our big cats.

On the other hand, because the event's major themes are all icons of Easter, anyone who does like the idea of lion Easter - again, for any reason - can continue playing as such since it will still be close enough to be a wink-wink nudge-nudge version of it.

Plus from what we've seen from Wenet so far, the lore we're going to get is going might take the holiday a deviation away from a generic springy egg hunt and really make it a distinct, derived event. This time next year, the currency name might make so little sense it could be jarring. Ostrich egg scrimshaw is at least a real thing, too, so it isn't too silly either. Carved and otherwise decorated eggs are everywhere culturally, not just an Easter feature.
