I Changed my Mind!I changed my mind! I don't want to be with Vashkartzen! I took his quests, and now I regret it. Vaskartzen is the death of all good things - he's so mean! There should be a feature where you can "betray" Vashkartzen and go running back to V'Kai. Maybe you could trade out his carcass for a rotting one - make him dizzy so he forgets all about meeting you - and then you can go back to V'kai's quests! I suppose it would be difficult to do the same for V'kai though, so maybe forget that. Whatever - it doesn't matter how - I talked to some people in chat, they regret their decision too, just get us all away from that beast of a lion. Or, for others, V'Kai, but he's hardly a beast. Support? It wouldn't do you any bad? |

I do support this, as I don't think it's a bad idea to give people a second chance (pretty sure the news post already says we do get another chance, but I do want the admins to keep this in mind for the future since not everyone has two accounts) but I'm kinda surprised that people who chose him are so upset. I know his intro was shorter than V'kai's but I thought it clear then he was pretty nasty as soon as you see his skull-painted face. Why choose him them? Was it really a surprise how cruel seeming he is afterwords too or were people hoping his reward would be more to their liking? I'm legitimately curious, not trying to sound judging. I'm also not saying you don't have the right to be upset by him, it's just strange to me that people are regretting it when his character was (briefly) established as a "no fun allowed" edgelord before you are given the choice. 0 players like this post! Yeah, I don't know about other people, but I was scared. I looked at the two options, and this was what went on in my head: Will V'Kai's quests be the same? Maybe it would be boring... I'm going with V'Kai, Vash is a jerk. But... Maybe I'll get stats? Vash doesn't have to be that much of a jerk... He'll train me, that's not mean... He's so ugly. He's evil. I love V'Kai! So adorable! But I don't want the same quests... What will happen? My mouse hovered over the V'Kai button. Then Vashkartzen. I clicked. End of story. 0 players like this post! Like? |

@King Cień Thank you for answering and not taking my question personally! (I really am trying not to offend, I just wanted to know.) That really helps me understand. I dunno, maybe it will even give the admins some ideas for July so people don't regret their choice as much? Like, since it's a curiosity and "what if it's better" thing maybe hint more at what they offer? I do agree it was very clear what V'kai offered since he shared some lore behind the groupies before you start his quest but Vash's was pretty vague. "Training" can mean a lot of things in the context of Lioden. Stats? Experience? Energy? Items that give those things? I chose him on my alt and V'kai on my main because that is what those kings would have done but I know not everyone has two active accounts. 0 players like this post! Like? |
