With the new addition of the primal mutations, the primals are getting a lot of love and will likely increase in price, if only slightly. Smilus and felis primals will be in high demand, but the poor piebalds will be left with nothing to show. This quite frankly sucks, considering all piebalds are descendents of a $50 USD applicator. What I'm suggesting are special piebalds that can only be achieved through a rare chance while breeding piebalds together; combination piebalds. These would literally be just two piebalds on the same lion as one mutation (so all the art is already done), and would be labelled such as Combination Piebald (Mottled and Light), Combination Piebald (Mosaic and Heavy). Or alternitavely they could be labelled simply Piebald (Symmetrical and Mottled), Piebald (Light and Heavy). Perhaps even breeding two of the same piebalds together could have a rare chance of a lethal mutation, similar to lethal white in horses and double merle in dogs? This mutation could maybe be labelled Piebald (Lethal White) or just Piebald (Lethal). I'd imagine it would die either after one or two rollovers, perhaps 3. Edit: Ariento (#1923) suggested a mutation similar to blind/eyeless. I'd suggest this be another variant, in which the mutation isn't lethal but instead the eyes are small, underdeveloped, and useless. (Similar to this) The lion would live a normal life, likely be either all white or nearly all white, and wouldn't be able to hunt, patrol, or become king due to blindness. This would bring up the value of piebalds, which would be great considering they're down to 3-7 GB per now, while the applicator is 200+ GB, which is a gigantic gap. As someone who purchased the applicator on Black Friday, it'd be great to be able to bring up the prices of piebald lions. As well, for the price that the applicator cost ($50 USD), we could currently purchase around 20 piebald lions for the amount of GB that we could get with $50 USD. It seems strange to me that a mutation like Primal that can be purchased with event currency has an expansion that makes it more valuable than a mutation that has origins in actual money. Plus, who doesn't love mutations? ;D |

Support! But maybe they shouldn't release it for a couple of months and let primal have it's glory! :) 0 players like this post! Like? |

As much as I love the idea of a lethal mut, I think a mut along the lines of blind/eyeless would be pretty cool too. 0 players like this post! Like? |

^^ Just because they've said something, doesn't mean it won't happen. They said no more blue lions after Maltese, yet we have Ice and Glacial, as well as more blue bases on the way. They said that we'd never have a green base, yet here we are with neon green lions. Nothing is set in stone in this game, as we've seen multiple times. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Sounds like a good idea to me! Or better yet, let piebalds be on other mutations. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I was thinking something very similar. When dogs are bred double piebald, they tend to have eye issues and I would like to see something like that in the art. Plus, the risks of deafness is enhanced, and thus there could be several mutations with double piebald. 0 players like this post! Like? |

This would be very hard to code and the lioden team said there will be no double mutations on lioden already 0 players like this post! Like? |

Dusk, its merely a suggestion as piebalds are coded VERY differently from other mutations. If they can code Smilus and Felis passing from normal Primal they can very easily code a different mutation to pass from two piebald parents. This suggestion cannot be compared to, say, a Dwarf Leopon mutation, which obviously would be a pain to art and code. All the art for mine is already done, they just need to be overlaid together and coded in like Smilus and Felis. To add on, back in the day, Maltese was the only "blue" base and admins claimed we'd never get an unrealistic blue base. You see where we are now with Interstellar, Glacial, Hoarfrost, Nadir, Elysian, etc. Things can always change, especially when piebald/patches and it's natural pass rate didn't exist when admins announced the "no combo mutation" rule. 0 players like this post! Yeah ig, but then again that would be A LOT, considering there are around what, 30 piebalds? And if you had a combination piebald for every piebald, that would add up to a LOT of piebalds and in general just be a pain to do Edit: and also mentioning cub poses/adolescent poses/adult poses, etc 0 players like this post!
