Love this idea! But should poops per hour be limited? As awesome as it'd be to see all the unrequested bundle sending, it may impact the authenticity of December applicators, as more beetles means more shop purchases and more applicators circulating. If it were limited to maybe 50 (debatable number) per hour, though it'd depend on the beetle rate from pooping, it would be a substantial gain but not ridiculous? I don't quite know how to explain it, lol

@Leannta Claus Thank you for the input! This is definitely something that staff should think about if they even consider this idea. Thank you for mentioning it, as some people may even go as far as writing scripts to find random users and leave automatically anon poops.

I agree with more encounters. It seems it comes in waves, I might explore 2 energy bars and get 1 or 2 bugs a day, but I work a lot so I dont get to participate in low currency chance events. I currently stand at less that 100 bugs on both accounts, and its not for lack of trying, especially on my days off.

I support. Like you said, this event is too punishing for socially inactive players, especially since most of Lioden's player base is based in the USA (judging from the recent charts in the news posts), and we celebrate holidays throughout this month.

Most people are spending times with friends and family, not at their PCs making gift/poop me forum threads.

I've been wanting to suggest something like this for a bit. Poop as of right now, is just more desirable for most people because of the chance of stink bugs. It's free, so thats another big thing. And the basin is more desirable, as well, since you can get rare decors.

Gifting is behind, and it really shouldn't be, because this event really shouldn't be about greed, but giving nice things. Generosity, etc.

Making Gifting more enticing to the player base would be nice. And having a rare chance to get one (about the same chance as getting the bugs from pooping) would be a nice, counter weight that will also benefit more aloof players like myself.


You brought up the 4-5 bugs for 250 bundles thing two years ago, I was there then, and the staff agreed that it was too rare and people were upset they plummeted their karma for such little reward. They gave people stink bugs to make up for it.
I've been inactive for a year, so I don't know how they changed the values.

In 85 bundles i got 10 beetles on one account. On my side out of 66 bundles i got 8. I was only able to afford 1 applicator on this account and one base changer on the other this year. I tried to explore as much as possible. I work a lot and with all the parties and get togethers it makes it so hard to log in regularly.

It seems rather dependant on poops. This seems backward. Its more logical to have beetles in more explore encounters or give beetles for the act of gifting/pooping rather than for getting poops/gifts. Otherwise there are tons of "poop me" spams in sales chat. If people got the beetles by giving poops/gifts it would entice more giving without all the advertising. The random den link would feel more useful.

Basic breakdown:

Currently if you GET poop, you MIGHT get a beetle.

I suggest, instead, GIVE a gift/poop, GET a beetle.

Conclusion: More giving, less begging, more chance at currency.
