17th October, 2019: I am leaving these existing links up, however I am going to start working through some results in this thread (more recent to be honest, because a lot of lions are repped or dead now) and compiling them all into one spreadsheet and then categorized spreadsheets after that. Heavy rosettes look like heavy cheetah marks, but I scryed some cubs with my boy who has a heavy cheetah mark and I didn't get anything. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I should mention that I DID see a regular rosette in slot 19 in a scry before the news dropped, however. I never had that happen before. 0 players like this post! Like? |

@Paralissa; Thank-you! :D And the random rosette drop are rare, but they do happen from time to time; can you remember the pairing? Xylax stated in the news that he was "inspired" by current rosette passing theories, so perhaps it may be a clue as to how to pass the new rosettes (ie, a user may have suggested a certain combination to pass random rosette) 0 players like this post! Heather Ends is the hidden, I think, Sev. I've scryed 100+ with two different lionesses with mottled rosette to Ghoul's king; now trying an empty slot 5 mottled rosette for another 50. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I assumed that myself. So far I'm at 150 scry attempts with three different mottled ladies to the same king; one mottled lady had no slot 5 mark to replicate the empty slot from the first bred Soft Rosette. All fails. So I'm now going to look at pairing the mother with another stud, to see if it is a combination of her markings :) If that fails as well, then I'll start narrowing down the type of Mottled Rosettes I pair with that particular king. 0 players like this post! Chances are it could be broken too, like combo bases and Mane Imperials were. xD That's why I'm kind of skeptical about trying to breed for newly released, hidden origin type of stuff.  Hopefully not, but you never know. 0 players like this post! Like? |
