Now that we have all of these other crazy eyecolors, we need a change for the contacts sitting in the oasis. They were implemented in this newspost. If you don't know what I'm talking about, it's these little things.    from newspost "I know you guys very very much wanted those colours and I very very much didn't want them because mammals don't really have purple eyes, but... I thought, why not reach a middle ground somehow and make everyone happy?" The whole reason why they were not passable was because mammals don't have purple eyes, so all they have are fail colors. I'm proposing that we change that. Let them pass! Turn them into applicators instead. I want to be able to use Lavender on my future king, but I also want him to be able to pass it onto his offspring and make beautiful purple-eyed cubs. Now that we have colors like Amethyst, Tyrian, and a ton of other eye colors that don't occur in mammals able to pass down their color. Why not those? If you have any suggestions on what they could turn the contacts into, I'd love to hear them! i do support this, but they are still contacts. colored contacts irl dont exactly pass down their colors. why not make them eye applicators instead?  0 players like this post! Like? |

I think allowing contacts to pass defeats the purpose of contacts, so maybe not. However, I do think there is something to be said for that realism nornsense! I mean, maybe back then it was a relevant concern, but now we've got plenty of bases and manes and eyes in much more unnatural colors -- that can pass, no less. It seems silly to reserve these of all colors as contacts only! I like the idea of allowing them to be applied with the Eye Changer oasis item, or even their own separate applicators. The site's changed so much that contacts seem pretty superfluous now! 0 players like this post! Like? |

I definitely believe that these should just be applicators, not contacts! I love Lavender and would love to see it on a few of my cubs ;0; Jax makes a good point. With eyes such as Draconid, Amethyst, Bismuth, Nebula etc etc, the contact eye colours aren't so bizarre anymore in comparison. In fact, they almost seem MORE natural compared to some of the eye colours we have now. Support all the way! <3 0 players like this post! Like? |

I'm not sure what you mean, Skkon. Do you support or not? We've already established that we don't want them to stay as contacts. We just want the color themselves to pass. Them staying as contacts themselves is not what I have in mind.  0 players like this post! Like? |

I support if it's renamed to applicator and "contacts" are removed from the name. (IE: "Contacts - Indigo Eyes" becomes "App - Indigo Eyes") Since, well, contacts can't pass lol. It's like if you wore yellow contacts and your babies end up with yellow eyes. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Ohh, gotcha, Mortemire! Your post made it sound like you were suggesting that the contacts work as applicators. We're on the same page after all! In that case: I could see these eye colors being absorbed into the Eye Applicator oasis item. I also really like Jax's idea about them being BO! :0 0 players like this post! Like? |
