How to Post Images on Lioden

I get this question a lot so I figured I would put up a little simple guide on how to post images. I will use an image of my own lion to demonstrate.

So here we'll go over some easy questions!

Question #1: How do I take a picture of my lion?
You can use a screenshot (normally linked to your printscreen button on your keyboard). You can use another program, such as Greenshot or Lightshot, both of which are free.

You can also use LioImage. This is my recommendation. It's specifically for generating LD images. You can choose to have your lion 'naked' or with their decor or background or both.

If you choose no background and decor, you get a transparent background, like this.


To save, you simply hover over the image and right-click and then click "save image".


Question #2: Where can I host the image?
Personally, I prefer Imgur.com, but other people use Tinypic.com. Often times, it tries to link you to a page, which will mess up the HTML. Instead of doing that, once again, right click on your image and click "copy image address".


Question #3: How do I put the image on Lioden?
It's very simple. Once you have the image address saved, you just type this.
<*img *src="*https://i.imgur.com/3w7BmGV.png*"*> You just have to remove ALL the asterisks. The * currently showing in the image.

Once you do that, it will look like this.


Question #4: My image is too tall or wide! How do I fix that?
To make the image smaller so it fits in the forum, you use this.

Then it will look like this.


Question #5: How do I put a link in the image?
You use this html.

Once you remove the *, it will look like this. And you can click on the image to follow the link.
