I don't like crested because it feels too thin too me. So maybe it could possibly be involved in combos that could create this mane.  If you don't like the idea of it being used in a combo for this mane, let me know why~ |

People generally have a thing against replacing what already exists. There's a suggestion for better versions of Opal, Hematite, and Moonstone, and they look WAY better than the existing ones, but people have expressed concerns about revamping it. I'd probably say that you took inspiration from the Crested mane to make this one, and that it could possibly be the product of Crested x something else!
