Hello,

This is a formal announcement informing everyone that we have removed the ability to place Goodie Bags in branches, raffles, and trades.

We have been deliberating over this change for some time between our admin team, and have ultimately decided that the previous system of allowing Goodie Bags to be traded and placed up for sale caused too many issues with false advertising and scamming. When Goodie Bags were implemented, our intent was to have them be a fun addition to the game, where players with good intent could use them to surprise others. This is unfortunately not how they have been operating for quite a while, so we feel that this is the best way to handle Goodie Bags from now on.

Please note that they can still be transferred to others, as well as discarded to the Giving Tree, so the element of surprise still exists; we have just disallowed them from being profited off of.

We'll be locking comments as this announcement is serving as a bigger form of notification versus a site notice that can be cleared. We hope you're looking forward to our scheduled big update on April 12th!
