Hello! Are you new to Lioden? Need help getting started? Well, this is the Topic for you!

I will share my strategy for playing Lioden with you and others. You don’t have to be a Newbie to look at this topic either! You could have been playing Lioden for days, weeks, months, or even years and still have no idea how to go about being successful.

First off, I know many of Lioden users value Silver Beetles (the regular game currency) and Golden Beetles (the premium game currency).

A way to ensure you will have SB and/or GB riches is quite simple. For me, I do about it many different ways and tackle this problem sufficiently.

I send my lionesses out to hunt whenever I can, as well as my Sub males to patrol, as they have a chance to come home with a little something.

In result of this, they can bring back game. First things first, I feed my lions. I don’t do this every day, though.

If my lions’ hunger is above 30%, I feed them. If they are under 30%, they don’t need to be fed. Same thing goes for playing with your lions. If my lions’ mood is above 50%, they don’t need to be played with. If they are under 50%, then I choose one of the interaction buttons to give them a mood boost. If that doesn’t work, then I allow them to play with a skull or feather.

After I’ve done my duties for my pride, I sell my surplus of food to Monkey Business. A single carcass can go for as high as 22 SB. Now, imagine selling five of those carcasses each day. That’s already over 100 SB!

Exploring also helps. But, I don’t drain my energy completely as soon as I log in and rollover. I take part in breeding my lionesses that are in heat and sparring with my Sub males. I also use this time to chase, kill, or send off unwanted lions to the nature reserve for a karma gain or loss.

Finally, a good way of gaining silver beetles would be to play games like Cups, Wack-a-Snake, Lioden Trivia, Serengeti Shuffle, and buying a daily silver beetle raffle ticket for only 10 SB. Cups only costs 5 SB for a play, and you can play once an hour. Lioden Trivia asks you questions about the game and occasionally about Africa. Wack-a-Snake is easy enough! Get a score of 100 or above, and you have a chance of winning SB! Or even an item! Serengeti Shuffle also rewards you with a prize.

I also sell my unwanted lions for at least 100 SB. I also gather many Newly Claimed Lionesses (commonly referred to as NCLs) and sell them in a bundle as a fodder. I also do this with cubs that have bad markings.

Also, common mutations such as overgrown teeth, claws, folded ears, overgrown fur, a silky mane, and others are quite cheap compared to others like Felis and Ferus mutations. For instance, I got my first mutation (which was an overgrown clawed male) for only 800 SB! And if you’re lucky, you could find one for 500 SB! That’s a great way to get mutations and breed them for even more mutations. You can sell these for more than you bought them. (Ex. I bought a potato Felis adolescent male for 700 SB and sold him for 5 GB! That’s a steal!)

Also, try studding your females to other male alphas. These male alphas can give you pretty great offspring.

If you’re just starting, try finding a few enclave cubs for your starting generation. Wait for them to grow up, go into heat, and mate with them. Usually enclave cubs have pretty good markings and stats.

Finally, try collecting tokens during the monthly event. Stock up. These events happen ONCE A YEAR!! If you gain enough tokens, then you could buy marking applicators or breeding items. These go for a good buck in the trading center, so save up and you could sell them for either SB, GB, or BOTH!

In conclusion, to manage your silver beetles wisely, I like to save mine in bundles. You can access bundles by going to your hoard and clicking the tab that says “bundles”. For me, I saved this is my bookmarks so I can access it easily.

I save my SB in bundles of 1000 in this category. It’s a very nice way to keep everything tidy so that way you won’t be carrying around all of those SB. It’s tempting to buy things if you see how much you have! I recommend (if your a newbie) to save bundles in the 100s and to always have a few SB handy. This is also the case with GB most of the time. Don’t worry! You can always go back and open your bundle if you want to. It’s like a mini bank.

I also organize my lionesses similar to this. I keep my unwanted in my unsorted cave, and the ones I want in my “Members of the Pride” cave. On their footnote, I save their fertility and percentage (if it’s revealed). My lionesses are also categorized by name in alphabetical order. All of my lionesses are also named after African gods and goddesses.
