Okay so, I get it, the whole tournament results are in and it's a message in your inbox. However, this is really annoying me cause every time that message pops up I get excited thinking either I'm getting a stud request or a clan message, or anything else that goes through there annnnd it's just the same old tournament reminder message for your results.

I'm just asking and maybe suggesting to make it stop appearing there, please? It's really something I'd hate to click into all the time just so it can stop saying there's a message in my inbox about the event.

Perhaps, like a separate notification where you can go and see results (like in other events whereas you clicked on the x and you still went to the page)

Or maybe something where you can disable/enable a button somewhere on the event page so you don't have to get results or you just want to be notified, even though the results are shown on the page itself.

This would make it easier for everyone I think.
(EDIT: truthfully I didn't think about where to post this)

This suggestion has 32 supports and 1 NO support.

This would have to go under game development, not event chatter .w.

So mod team is deleting a suggestion with 675 supports to keep the one with 4 supports.
Is that a way to pretend no one is asking for this ?

They've been doing this with a ton of suggestions rather than actually answer them, so...

Here's the original suggestion they just closed.

Hey there, I'd just like to clarify something based on the two most recent comments on this topic.

First off, moderators are volunteers who are here to enforce the site's rules and enact our staff policies and protocols. One of their duties as staff involves organising the Game Development forums, which includes locking duplicate suggestion topics and redirecting players to the original suggestion topic that was posted for an idea, even if the original topic is not as popular as a newer one. Moderators do not have to answer suggestion topics, because they have no weight in whether something is implemented into Lioden or rejected. They are only here to make it easier for the game developers to look through the suggestion forums, and when there are multiple topics that are all essentially suggesting the same thing, it can get a little confusing to navigate through.

Topics are not being locked to "pretend that they are not being asked for". The game developers and our site admins have clarified many times that the amount of supports vs no supports on a suggestion does not influence whether a suggestion will be added in, so it is very possible that a suggestion with 4 supports will make it in, while a suggestion with 700 supports will not, as an example.

I can understand it being frustrating to have a topic locked when it has a lot of supports, but please be assured that the game developers are already aware of what players are requesting, and it is at their discretion whether to add it in or not.

Katze, I appreciate the response, really. Thank you.

But it's just very incredibly frustrating that you guys are closing the topics that are active and leaving up the ones with no support or responses. This frustration is because we are not allowed to advertise other people's suggestions, and if the owner doesn't advertise it, then it won't get seen. It also prevents people from seeing and interacting with the valuable community input. At the end of the day, we just desperately want quality of life additions, and it's so discouraging to see a mod response at long last on a topic, only to find out it was to close the topic.
