V,2 suggestion on how to possibly fix the lion heritage line. I suggest to change the way no longer existing parents of our lions are treated. Currently, they show (Deceased) next to their name - which I find extremely un-neat way of showing it. :( It breaks the stories for those of us who make them, forcibly marking our lions as being "deceased" while story-wise we might have other ideas of what happened to the parents of our lions. SO I purpose! Instead of adding a (Deceased) text to the name of a lion that doesnt exist/not a breedable lion anymore, make the names of those lions show In Italics instead! That way it will show something is different about the lion - but NOT brand it as dead/deceased so people can have creative interpretation of what happened to the ancestor of their lion. (and overall make the page look more neat and not add any unnecessary bits of text to the names of our lions) Example: Instead of having a (Deceased) added to a name of a lion that doesnt exist, it would look like this:  |

In Italics if they would show (Deceased) now, and not in italics if they wouldnt show (Deceased) now in their name. All links the same as they were before - clickable and leading where they lead now. No mechanics would change from the way it is now - just instead of where (Deceased) addon is applied now, there'd be italicised names instead. Purely cosmetic change removing the unwanted addon, replacing it with subtle neat detail instead. That's all Im suggesting. 0 players like this post! I really like this idea! I think it would also be a good idea to not only implement this into the lions profile page, but also in the heritage page. There is currently no way in telling who is dead and who isn't, if I look at the complete heritage of a lion. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Support! This also gave me the idea of naming my next king (DECEASED) just to mess with people. EDIT: what about lionesses whose names consist entirely of special characters or different fonts n' such? I'm not sure that their names would italicise correctly. 0 players like this post! I guess it would just be the way they italicise, and if they wont italicise well it'll just be at that? (Deceased) is also not a 100% indicator lioness/lion is dead, just as you noted above - users may just put (Deceased) into their lion's name, and it will be impossible to tell if its actually deceased or not. I support, primarily because I never kill lions and it makes me feel kind of bad when I send a lioness to the nature reserve or chase her than she shows up as deceased. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Neutral at the moment. I imagine this wouldn't work well with fonts, so withholding for now. I do like a better way of saying a lion's page is no longer available, but not sure this is the best way to do so. 0 players like this post! Like? |
