((Alright lol Okay so imma guess it's some type of village she's prowling around in maybe))

...𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩...

A woman slipped past some guards on her way into the village, her breathing was rapid as she tried to avoid beasting out right there, she felt the ever looming pressure of the guards' presence and it unnerved her to no end. True, it probably was not the best idea to be sneaking around the guards of the village, that would make her seem more suspicious, but she also refused to be caught and held hostage by the village. Her blue/grey irises looked around rapidly as she felt the inner werewolf, or war-hound as many called it, stir impatiently and almost annoyed, wanting nothing more than to lash out on the humans but Lacie had more control than that, so long as she did not become her dragon form, everything should run smoothly as she slipped into an alleyway. The shadows of the alleyway offered her a small sense of security, but she could feel the presence of another, even if this was one of the villages that were okay with inhuman creatures around them, they still would question her and she might accidentally snap and massacre the whole village, something she hated about her instincts, always wanting to do nothing but kill anything that held life in front of her. Unfortunately for her she felt her hunger growing, since she had not eaten any food for the beasts within her in roughly three and half months, much farther than her typical limit of two months of fasting. Her eyes threateningly changed to a purple-like smoke color as she thought about food, which also made her mouth water faintly, with a growl she shook her head, drawing in a sharp breath, knowing she would have to try her best to not let her hunger take control. From far away lands she had heard of a safe-haven for creatures like her, but getting to said safe-place was hard and laboring work that was slowly beginning to cost her, especially since she had just reached the correct age for a thing called mates, that word was foreign to her but the books she had read about her kind plainly states that her species can have any type of mate, someone sort of destined for her to be with, of course she figured that was all a large lie, written to be a story instead of informational.

Clutching his hands together Auden tried his best not to be seen- slinking through the darker parts of the villages he lived in was something he was used to. Normally he was hard to miss- despite the darker colors he tended to wear something about him always tended to stand out...especially to the guards that filled the village. There was no reason for them to go after him, he hadn't done anything wrong- and he doubted the weird stares he was likely giving them all would tip them off. Looking away from them just in case, he continued to move onwards, stopping every few moments. His nature was scratching at him, almost trying to tear off his skin and escape from his body- rubbing his arms didn't help at all, only made him realize how it felt and the lack of scales on his body... He knew what he should be- the situation of his birth told him that he should have been born human, entirely human- not with the feeling that everything was absolutely wrong. Shaking his head and tapping himself on the forehead he tried to remove the stupor, moving forward with a small stumble. He couldn't shift now- the guards would be all over him in seconds, and he doubted he would be able to escape from their weapons no matter how fast he moved up into the sky. He heard of somewhere more...exotic beings could live, but he had written that off as nothing but a tale. Even if that kind of place existed the dragon-folk never got far even there. It was safer to just...do what he was doing right now. Breaking out into a run he started to dash towards his home, the feeling too strong for him to even think about what the guards would do.

The woman carefully slunk deeper into the shadows, watching mutely as the guards walked by, but her piercing gaze caught something in the distance, seemingly running into the darkness of the forest, 'Lucky...' Silently she covered her face with her darkened hood, fearing her piercing dragon-pupiled gaze would draw attention, unnecessary attention anyway, she needed to get out to allow the wolf half of her to escape and tire itself out so she could come back to the town without having the immoral urge to slaughter everyone and everything in her path. Lacie sighed gently, spotting an opening and immediately rushed forward to make the escape successfully her eyes looked around to ensure no one had spotted her and was soon relieved to determine no one had indeed spotted her. Drawing in a breath she leaned against the shadow of a tree to catch her breath, though she was a beast, her human form had absolutely terrible stamina unlike her other three forms. Lightly she removed her hood to brush a hand through her hair as she skillfully stepped across a trap of sorts, not setting it off since her instincts could determine where traps were located and so forth, most traps were for game animals anyway so she avoided them. Once she walked a fair distance from the town she allowed her larger-than-average wolf form to burst forth, obviously enraged about some inconsiderate humans earlier, that was a con of having a wolf half, that she became enraged quickly if someone started pushing certain buttons and triggers. In the woman's place where she was just standing, reveled a solid black wolf, small patterns of purple could be seen stretched up her legs glowing brightly, signalling her anger. The wolf growled lowly and started tracking down a group of deceitful bandits she had caught wind of within the village proximity, like a ninja or something of the night she stalked the group down, observing what types of weapons they may possess, before setting forth to unleash her rage rather quickly, once she had released her rage she quietly walked towards a stream nearby to wash her fur clean.

Auden knew he had been seen- but the lack of yelling from behind him and upset cries tipped him off that they could care less about it. At the moment he was out of the city, in the more civilized part of the forest- lifting his head he breathed in the air. His home was somewhere out here, and while he hadn't yet learned the landmarks of the forest, he hadn't gotten lost yet. Sighing and rubbing his head again he dashed onwards, getting into the deeper parts of the forest before he sat himself under a tree. Catching his breath he allowed the feral nature inside his bones to spring free, jaws opening wide in a faint snarl that wasn't possible with human voices. Shaking off the last few bits of his humanity the shape of the black dragon emerged, folding a membraned wing over its head before spreading them upwards. Even in this form he could think- and the logical side of him told him that flying where he wanted- over the trees- would be a rather bad idea. Same was screeching out his joy at being free, or threatening the nearby wildlife with a roar- oh how he wished he could be back in that home they once had in the mountains! Shame they found them out there.

The she-wolf finally finished washing the vile liquid from her body that she had spilled during her rage, finally now that she was calm she could relax a bit underneath some of the trees, preferring her midnight colored fur, by now the patterns of purple had all but vanished from the tresses of her fur. Lacie silently looked up at the clouds through the canopy of trees as she urged herself to stand up from where she had currently been stationed underneath the cool shadow of the trees above her head, shaking her fur she listened carefully as her ear flicked, to ensure no one was near and seemed relieved when her search had came up empty. Silently she padded through the forest curiously, occasionally stopping to sniff around or even listen for footsteps while looking around the area, before her mind drifted back earlier, 'What if that was some evil man?' The girl silently shifted back once she found a small cave area to hid in during the transformation that took place, revealing slightly messy dirty-blonde hair and piercing blue/grey eyes as she lightly bit her lip to gaze curiously around her surroundings, various plants lined the trees sort of cascading around the trunks as she smiled gently to glance around quietly, it seemed like a peaceful place and there were a few rare species of flowers that littered the ground around her, making her sigh almost dreamily.

He stayed in the draconic form he was comfortable with, sitting down and scratching at the trunks of local trees with signs that resembled that of a bear's marker. He knew that eventually he would have to go back to his usual form, but he would stay like this for as long as possible. He sighed, clicking his jaws against one another and starting to pad through the forest with quick movements. Eventually the smell of flowers hit him- a sweet, natural smell that made him pause a moment before changing direction and starting to move towards it. Halfway into his walk the fact that people may be there struck him- and due to the small...changes that could be visible on him after a shift, he needed to get back to normal. Stopping for a moment he undid the transformation and locked the draconic body back in its prison- with that he started to walk forward again, hoping the horns and scales dotting his arms would leave by the time he got to the field. He just couldn't resist flowers- and they smelled much better with an enhanced sense of smell.

Lacie silently strolled through the field of various flowers, of course she could tell sometimes people came here, perhaps some healers of some sort, came to gather some of these herbs dotting the outer crevices of the field, her eyes landed on various plants and some she lightly touched, which made the plants retract into the safety of their pod-like cocoons. She reached up to brush her hair smooth once more as she lightly bit her lip accompanied by a light chuckle as she watched some of the bees dart around, a few landed on her darker garbs as watched the scene of life unfold in front of her. Relaxing a little bit she leaned back against a tree silently to watch the gentle sway of the breeze echo throughout the field and trees, birds called one another in the distance as the female watched from afar when a group of deer emerged from the field. Of course having tired her inner wolf out she could silently watch them from afar without having the urge to hunt them for a snack or just for sport, whichever would have hit her mind first as she closed her eyes, savoring the feeling of serenity that over-came her form while playing with some soft, yet luscious, grass with her left hand. The woman opened her eyes once more as she heard more footsteps in the distance, but those could have come from a predator of some sort, after all it did not seem like there were more than one pair of footsteps, lightly making crunching sounds as the person walked, so she was well aware of their presence before the unknown person entered the field around her. Various insects fluttered or flew from flower to flower and tree to tree, it resembled something from one of those human novels she had read that her parents occasionally brought home and sometimes even read to her siblings before she left the home, which had been one of her better days until she realized the world despised her kind and only a few places accepted them.

Walking a bit faster his feet crunched through the leaves, becoming louder and louder until it was the sound of normal human footsteps. Looking from behind a tree into the patch of flowers his eyes did not yet point to Lacie- instead he was enamored by the flowers themselves. The bright colors danced around in his eyes, and he couldn't resist showing a small amount of himself to pick one of them and bring it closer to his face. Something felt great about this...he tucked it into his pockets and moved back into his cover. It was the kind of place he should bring his sister- she was rather quiet, and the kind of person that would just sit down in the center and do absolutely nothing...he sighed again, realizing he needed to start heading home a bit sooner. It wasn't right to be out here for so long. He was about to turn away when a figure finally caught his eyes, and he turned- hiding even more behind the tree and hoping the signs of his turn wouldn't show, looking at them...they appeared to be a female, doing about the same thing he was.

She could hear as the steps grew steadily in sound, coming to a stop near the edge of the forest, 'Someone must be here?' Lacie racked her thoughts but caught a glimpse in the corner of her eye as a butterfly fluttered near where the footsteps had stopped. The woman calmly leaned back against the tree, hoping it was not one of those humans from the village...but the aura it gave off was anything but human, which made her curious and slightly open one of her blue orbs to watch to see if the person might step out into the clearing. Lacie opened her eyes a bit more when the figure emerged lightly and picked up a flower, before bringing it towards their face, by the way they stepped and the slight amount of body she could see the figure was a normal-looking male, but she could be wrong for all she knew. Something about the way the moved made her even more intrigued and knew that her beasts inside were intrigued too, making her lightly shift where she had chosen to rest, then she felt the new presence of something inhuman, just like her, 'So they must be like me...but what are they-?' The woman's gaze watched him gently as he looked about to turn away but made her lightly gaze down at the ground near her, it was odd however, that she did not hear him leave- instead he seemed to still remain there as her ears remained trained on any noise that might come from that way. She lifted her head curiously acting more like the inner wolf of her's than acting as a human, trying to use all her senses of smell and taste to determine whether the person was a friend or foe.

He knew that she had seen him- and looking down at his arms he realized that his draconic leftovers had left. Now he was just a normal person again still with the same feral gaze and weird mannerisms, but without any of the signs that would tip people off to his nature. With a sigh he realized he would have to go up and say something- there was no use hiding anymore. Any dragon-folk could recognize the presence of another of their ilk, but the same thing couldn't be said for other beings- who knows, she could be any sort of inhuman creature and he wouldn't pick up on it. The chance of getting randomly attacked- either if they were a dangerous sort of creature or picked up on his nature and went after him- was higher than he would have liked. He wasn't the kind to shy away from danger- in fact he relished in it. A dragon wasn't a dragon without some thrills, after all. With that he walked into the field, showing himself in full but trying to hide the fact that he had just come out from behind the tree. "Well hello there." he spoke, keeping his distance with a wave of a hand. "Looks like somebody else has come to share the field today, yes?" He did his best to keep his face straight, not letting up that in fact he had never been in the field himself and might as well be intruding on their spot. "Good flowers- give off a wonderful scent. Goes well with the weather, too." *The weather?* he thought, scolding himself. *Of all things, you're talking about the weather! How often do I even approach people!?*

The girl blinked lightly as her inner dragon argued with her inner vampire and warhound, she drew in a light breath silently watching the flowers sway in the distance. Though she was partially draconic, that was the one side she could not fully control-actually she could hardly control all three halves-but she still had a better grip on the other halves, so naturally when she felt the presence of another dragon, that made her perk up, 'I better not be attacked, but this territory isn't claimed either?' The dirty-blonde female huffed lightly at her own thoughts as she blinked seeing the figure emerge from the treeline, her eyes zeroed in on the figure as she tilted her head curiously, prepared for anything like usual. Lacie knew however that no one of the dragon kind could pick up that she was one herself unless they were close -like friends, family, or even a significant other- the elders she lived under had informed her so, which was confusing for her but she lived with that thought. 'Definitely a male from his voice,' was what her thoughts echoed as she gazed towards him with a gentle smile, "Hello to you too." she nodded in greeting as he stepped closer though Lacie chuckled lightly, "Guess so, I didn't expect to see anyone else here in all honesty." He intrigued the trio of beasts within her but they just wanted to observe the ordeal, she could not help but stifle the light giggle that escaped her lips upon hearing his next statement, 'Wonder how often this dragon talks to people on a daily basis?' Before she spoke, the woman lightly nodded her head in agreement, "The weather does give varying effects on the scent of flowers, so I agree that it does indeed."

He could tell she wasn't impressed by him, most definitely by the thing he just said- the weather definitely wasn't a good thing to start with. Now that she was turned towards him he could tell something was strange with them- they didn't seem like an entirely normal human. He would be able to tell if they were of his kind- dragon folk were easy to recognize when it came to others of their kind, after all. He shook his head again, trying to get back to the conversation and not wondering about what this newcomer could be. Either way, he could tell they didn't own the field. He nodded to them hearing them speak about the flowers, keeping his distance but still crouching down to run a hand across the petals. "I suppose you're just taking a break here?" he said, trying to move the conversation away from the weather mishap. "I live a good way from here- yet I've never ran into this spot before. I hope I'm not intruding on your place." He dipped his head to her in respect before standing up again, moving back just in case. The thought of another person around here being a beast never occurred to him in most situations, and he could tell something was weird about this one.

Lacie smiled gently as he shook his head, her eyes skimming his form lightly as she drew in a breath, leaning back against the tree she was under. The female shifted in the way she was sitting to gaze curiously at the newcomer, striking up a conversation, or trying to with his statement. Lightly she not her lip in a gentle manner as she watched his hand run over the petals of the flower underneath his hand making her draw in a breath and glance towards the fluffy clouds in the sky, drifting by lazily. Her attention reverted back to the male in front of- well more like beside of- her watching him for a second as he spoke once more, a small smile appeared on her features. Lacie nodded gently at his statement, "Indeed I am just taking a small break here." Her blue hues went back up towards his figure once more as her thoughts traveled around, though she shook her own heads upon hearing him ask if it was her place indirectly, " Unfortunately not, I don't really have a place, I just sort of travel around and stuff since I don't really tend to fit into places much anymore... " Her voice came out as more of a whisper as she spoke on the second half of her statement as she gently plucked a blade of grass to wrap it around her index finger.
