Meadowstar | 40 Moons | She-cat | Leader | Location: Camp | Mentions: None

Meadowstar lay half on, half off a thick root of one of the Shelter Trees. It was the root that formed the entrance to the small den she had made beneath its exposed roots. Her upper body rested on the root, while her hind end lay inside the shadowy den. With her white paws crossed, the tortoiseshell she-cat looked up beneath the tree branches, gazing at the pale blue sky. She had to blink her pale green orbs a couple times to adjust to the bright morning sky. It was a chilly morning, but the rising sun shone brightly, with little clouds to suggest it would disappear anytime soon. A perfect day to restock the freshkill pile. Although she could not see their food stores from where she lay, she figured it would be low. Keeping up with feeding the remnants of the once mighty clan cats was not easy. Not when they shared this territory with other hunters.
The fluffy she-cat rose to her paws, and arched her back in a long, deep stretch. Giving each of her bi-colored limbs a quick stretch as well, the previous Shadowclan leader stepped the rest of the way out of her den for the day. From the top of the hillock that the Shelter Trees grew upon, she had a clear view of the camp. Although it was nothing compared to her beloved Shadowclan camp, it was beginning to actually feel like home now. It just needed some time. Memories of her old camp flashed through her mind, apprentices tousling around outside their den, warriors filling the camp clearing, exchanging stories and sharing tongues. She let out a little sigh, and pushed the thoughts away. Those times where gone.
Meadowstar descended the small slope to the main area of camp, nodding her head to the few warriors who remained in camp. She knew a few must be out on the dawn patrol, but would be returning soon. Everyone else she assumed was still in their dens.
Swiping her tongue around her mouth, the tortoiseshell molly realized just how parched she was. Her mouth felt dry as dust after a long nights sleep. Turning towards the small stream that trickled through the camp, she made her way towards the fresh running water.

Drizzleface | 32 Moons | She-cat | Medicine Cat | Location: Outside Camp | Mentions: Wolfpaw and Dewpaw (Indirectly) / Dawn Patrol

Drizzleface lay atop a large mossy boulder at the end of a little creek. A small pool formed at its base, and the pale mollys white paws hung off the rock, trailing in the water. It was a peaceful area, a place she often visited. She was an early riser, and so as to not disturb her den mates, she came here to spend her morning. It was not far from camp, she could see the small path the cats had made that lead to the camps entrance. She could easily see who came and went.
Tiny silver fish darted around in the shallow depth of the pool, and Drizzlefaces' pale blue orbs followed their movements, darting from side to side as well. A chilly breeze blew through the clearing, sending a few dead leaves trailing to the ground. The medicine cats long, soft fur blew in the breeze, but she barely felt the chill that came with it, her thick pelt keeping her skin warm.
While watching the fish, the pretty molly got lost in thought. I'll need to go out and collect a few herbs today. Leaf-bare is on it's way and I want to be prepared. Maybe I can bring Wolfpaw and Dewpaw along with me. Test them on some herb knowledge along the way. At the though of the two apprentices, memories began to rise up of her own apprentice, Owlpaw. Drizzleface felt all the emotions she tried to keep a bay about the deceased young cat threaten to spill out. Taking deep breaths, she focused all her attention back on the fish, watching how their bodies moved as they swam. She was an emotional she-cat, but was good at controlling them. After a moment, she felt relaxed again. What happened happened, and she was not going to let it bring her down.
Just as she was about the head back to camp, the Dawn Patrol appeared from behind a cluster of fern bushes. Drizzleface watched them as they headed back to camp, calling out a greeting.

(If you'd like to interact with Drizzleface, all spots on the Dawn Patrol are open if you'd like for your cat to have been present!)

Blizzardthistle | 83 Moons | Tom | Warrior | Location: Camp | Mentions: Meadowstar

Blizzardthistle sat inside the camp, sharpening his claws on the bark of an old tree that sheltered a few of the warriors dens. He raked his long claws down it's thick bark, grinning as the filtering sunlight from above the branches glittered off them. His grin grew wider, exposing his yellow stained fangs, as he thought of slicing though his enemies. They'd had to deal with a few nasty foxes since they found this place, and Blizzardthistle wanted nothing more then for another one to challenge him. Ever since the fall, the only conflict was between warrior and predator. He missed border skirmishes, where he could send his rival clans warriors home with a couple notches taken out of their ears. Or good old prey disputes. Anything that resulted in fighting basically.
The black and white tom turned his head as Meadowstar emerged from her den. His face fell into a scowl, green eyes narrowing at the sight of the excuse of a leader. She was the opposite of what Blizzardthistle thought a leader should be, and he was shocked when she'd taken on the position of Shadowclan deputy, and later on leader. She was weak, and deserved to lead not even so much as a mouse, let alone a whole clan. Well, she's not anymore.
The Fall was not what Blizzardthistle had wanted, and the circumstances they were now in do not please him. While he'd sided with the dark forest originally, he didn't want the destruction of the clans, which is what ultimately changed his mind to fight on behalf of his clan. He knew some of the other cats still did not trust him, but he hoped he could earn their respect once more.

(Apologizes if there's any mistakes xD It's almost 2AM and I'm a bit tired lol)

Cinderpaw | 9 moons | She-cat | Apprentice | Location: Camp | Mentions: Meadowstar (mainly)

Cinderpaw roused herself as the sun peeked over the horizon, casting slanting rays over the cats' camp. The sparse branches sheltering her makeshift nest did little to repress the sunlight, and so the she-cat grudgingly shook herself awake with a drowsy sigh, crawling out from beneath the swath of branches and entering the clearing.

Cold air prickled her skin, causing Cinderpaw's fur to fluff up reflexively as she sank into a stretch, jaws parting in a wide yawn. The she-cat surveyed the nearly vacant clearing, reveling momentarily in the silence that came so rarely after all five clans were forced into one living space together. The grey apprentice meowed a loud greeting to any cat in the vicinity, the noise dying in her throat when her eyes landed on Blizzardthistle. She followed the direction of his less-than-friendly stare, eyes sparking as they caught sight of Meadowstar emerging from her den.

Cinderpaw herself admittedly had some reservations about the former ShadowClan leader, though none were rooted in malice, as they seemed in Blizzardthistle's case. She'd heard the rumors that had been whispered about Meadowstar's soft-handed approach to leadership, and Cinderpaw in general was wary of ShadowClan's reputation for slyness. Furthermore, now that Meadowstar was her new mentor, Cinderpaw's lingering attachment to her former mentor prevented her from viewing the tortoiseshell with an open mind. Though Cinderpaw was eager to continue her training after the several moons of constant wandering, she questioned the fidelity of taking a new mentor -- a ShadowClan one, no less -- when she didn't know for sure if her former one survived or not.

Brushing her internal worries aside, Cinderpaw bounded past Blizzardthistle, making a point to approach her mentor cordially with a wave of her plumy tail.

"Hi, Meadowstar!"

Meadowstar | 40 Moons | She-cat | Leader | Location: Camp | Mentions: Cinderpaw

Meadowstar bent her head down to lap at the cold, clear water, trickling thinly from a crack in a clump of boulders. It carried on further into the forest on the other side, and it lead to a small area of primarily pine trees. The quaint little spot in this mostly deciduous forest, was a reminder of home. Meadowstar enjoyed hunting there, and sometimes would curl up in a sunny patch for a quick nap, when things were slow.
As the leaders sensitive, pink tongue touched the surface of the water, it was a bit of a shock at its chillness, although its crisp taste was welcome. She helped herself to a mouthfuls, only pulling up at the call of her name.
The mottled molly raised her head, drops of water dripping from her chin fur and whiskers. She already knew by the voice who it was, and was not surprised to turn and see Cinderpaw, her new apprentice. Quickly swiping her tongue around her maw to rid it of water droplets, Meadowstar returned the young cats friendly greeting, "Good morning Cinderpaw!"
She knew having a ShadowClan cat as your mentor must be a huge adjustment for the grey she-cat; it was for her as well, having to train a future warrior of a rival clan. However times had changed, and with so little warriors available, apprentices where given to whatever cat was available. They needed to train, and this was the only way. Cinderpaw was a bright young cat though, who was a hard worker, and Meadowstar admired her dedication. She'll make a fabulous warrior some day.
"It's a fine morning for some hunting." Meadowstar gestured up to the sky with a subtle upwards motion of her head. "Would you like to go out for some hunting training soon?" With all the foxes lurking around this forest, and the fear of the Dark Forest still hanging over their heads, most mentors had been focusing on battle moves with their apprentices, and while she too had been, she couldn't neglect her apprentices other skills.

Lionmane | 27 Moons | She-cat | Deputy | Location: Camp | Mentions: No one

Lionmane, yawns softly she had just awoken from her sleep, and she ,for once, had a good dream! Stretching her limbs she out of habit tried to find her deceased mate.
After a few seconds of not finding them she comes to her senses, she remembered that her mate, her best friend, died in the fall.

(Sorry its so short!! I just woke up >_<)

Shaking her head the golden she-cat searches for something to busy herself with, perhaps someone could come distract her? Eh for now Lionmane will jusy do her duties for now.

Whisperstar | 83 moons | she-cat | former WindClan leader | location: camp | mentions: Blizzardthistle, Meadowstar, CInderpaw, Eaglecry (briefly)

Whisperstar padded out of her den, stretching. What she needed now was a drink of water and some fresh air to clear her head. She walked to the stream and lapped up some of the cold, clear water, watching Meadowstar and Cinderpaw train. She had to admire the younger leader. Taking on an apprentice right now, even if Cinderpaw had been from her own Clan, wasn't something she envied, and the fact that Cinderpaw was from SkyClan made it even more challenging.

The black-and-white she-cat drank deeply for a few more moments, but another noise distracted her: the sound of her brother, raking his claws on the trunk of a tree. Whisperstar stiffened, unsheathing her claws. She had never trusted Blizzardthistle. There was a reason why she had chosen Eaglecry and not her brother as deputy. While both cats were hardworking and dedicated, there had always been a... coldness to Blizzardthistle that she never liked, and he'd proved her right by practically ignoring her once she'd chosen her deputy.

Well, she thought, he's still my brother and I'll have to speak with him eventually. She licked her chest fur a bit, stalling, before trotting over towards the green-eyed tom.

(sorry it's kind of short... i'm a bit busy atm but i'll write intros for my other kiddos soon!)

Blizzardthistle | 83 Moons | Tom | Warrior | Location: Camp | Mentions: Meadowstar (indirectly), Cinderpaw (indirectly), Whisperstar

Blizzardthistle glared for a few more moments, sheathing and unsheathing his claws, digging them into the mossy ground beneath him. A good portion of the hatred he felt for the former ShadowClan leader was resentment. He deserved to be leader far more than that soft-hearted fool.
Upon noticing Cinderpaw bounding across camp to her mentor, he averted his green gaze, letting his expression fall back into a basic look of interest as he lifted a paw to examine his sharpened talons. If he ever wanted anyone to trust him again, he couldn't be seen throwing daggers with his eyes at their so-called leaders.
A moment later, the black and white tom caught sight of his sister out of the corner of his eye, and she appeared to be headed in his direction. Ever since she'd overlooked him when choosing her deputy, he'd been a bit...cold to her. Completely ignoring their sibling relationship would be a better way of putting it. While they'd never been close, Blizzardthistle acted as if he had no sister at all. She is my only family now... Because of the tragic death of their mother during the Fall, Whisperstar was the only member of their family known to still be alive. I need to earn every ones trust back. Perhaps Whisperstar could help me with that. Dropping his paw back to the ground, Blizzardthistle watched her cross the rest of the distance to where he sat, and nodded his head in a polite greeting. "Morning Whisperstar."

Hailstar| 74 Moons | Male | former RiverClan leader| Location: Camp | Mentions: Lionmane

Walking back into the camp, a small mouse held in the RiverClan- once RiverClan, as he often reminded himself- cat's jaws. The taste of it against his tongue had a strong foresty nature to it, almost as if it had been feeding on pine. It wasn't something he was used to at all; fur instead of scales, pine instead of the familiar taste of trout and minnow. He had to get used to the loss of his beloved home, along with a large number of his clan. It hurt his spirit. How could StarClan let this happen to us?! he thought, as he often did- his claws extended for a moment and he shook his head. Trying to remove the betrayed feelings from his head he continued to walk, sheathing his claws another time with a sigh. Maybe he would get to know some of the new cats.

The other leaders- he had no problems with them, despite how different they all were. He still considered them equals- they had control over his cats in the same way he could tell theirs what to do. It was strange- RiverClan forming patrols made up of ShadowClan and SkyClan cats instead of loyal River warriors- but it was the new way of life. Still, speaking to cats he recognized was much better than conversating with the others. He still needed to get used to them.

And who had just awoken but his lovely golden deputy? Lionmane was chosen due to the she's friendly nature- she was the life of the clan, and he took a shine to her. After all, apart from fighting prowess why wouldn't you want a deputy who could bring some energy into the place? He had noticed a real change in her after the fall- it saddened him. He guessed it was the death of her beloved that did so... He thought for a moment about approaching before deciding that it shouldn't be a problem for a leader to speak to his deputy. Dropping the mouse off in the prey-pile they had hastily constructed he padded over to them, raising his tail in greeting.

Hollowstep| 67 Moons | Female | former ShadowClan medicine cat| Location: Outside Camp | Mentions:None

Hollowstep was out gathering herbs, picking up plants with slashes of her claws and gathering them up in her jaws. Many of them were familiar herbs such as catmint and yarrow, things she recognized and so would the others- but many of the stalks she carried were unfamiliar. One had strange flowering buds, one was covered in small seeds- she held them cautiously, making an effort not to touch them with her tongue if they happened to be poisonous. They would need some testing back at the camp- maybe they had some properties that could be of use to the cats. If not, well, too bad, She would head back and try again.

Picking up a few more stalks she realized she couldn't carry any more in her teeth- pushing some of the plants to the side, cautious as ever, she grabbed a few more familiar herbs before starting to pad back to camp. The familiar ones, of course, would go into the pool all the medicine cats got their herbs from- for any of them to use. Her herbs were for her personal collection, in a small nook towards the back of the den. The other cats should already know not to touch it.

Novasong| 37 Moons | Female | former SkyClan warrior| Location: Outside Camp | Mentions:Drizzleface

Novasong had no real thoughts about the Fall. The Clan was okay while it lasted- and from the way the other cats spoke of it, it had been lasting for ages. How old were these groups, anyway? She had even heard legends of them when on her wanderings, padding through cities and alleyways and hearing tales of bone eating forest cats. Silly stuff, she had thought, but their structure captivated her. Names, ceremonies? Fascinating- maybe that was why she hadn't moved on yet. Korra was dead and that was it.

She had joined the dawn patrol around the borders, something to make sure they were secure- she knew they had been used to keep enemy cats out back in the time of the five clans, but now what were they for? Tradition, to keep out foxes? Hah- she could beat back a fox any day. With their combined might she doubted they would ever lose a fight. Of course, the Dark Spirit Cats were stronger, That was clear.

Looking at her fellows on the dawn patrol, none of them being cats that interested her in any way, she turned her head upon hearing a spoken greeting- it was a feline with the scent of plants and sickness covering their body. The medicine cat, they were called. More interesting than these guys, anyway. Nodding to show the medicine cat she had heard their greeting she started to walk towards them, eyes focusing down to the small stream they were beside. Interesting.

Goldenflame | 32 moons | she-cat | nursing queen | location: camp (nursery) | Mentions: Hawkstone, Blizzardthistle (briefly)

Goldenflame lay in the nursery, peaceful and content. The four kits were nursing in blessed silence, and Blizzardthistle finally stopped sharpening his claws on the nearest Shelter Tree (the noise!). Best of all, Hawkstone had finally stopped bothering her, giving her time to think about what he'd done - something that she'd been avoiding for a while.

Hawkstone had trained in the Dark Forest, and he'd killed at least one cat. That much, at least, she knew for sure. What she didn't know was how many other cats he'd killed, how many codes he'd broken, and how many lives he had destroyed before finding the stinking, dead tom in the WindClan nursery. While Goldenflame hated StarClan now, for abandoning them to their fate, she would never join the Dark Forest! The place of nightmares! She huffed, disturbing the kits a little, and as she rushed to soothe them, the dark thoughts came roaring back. What hasn't Hawkstone told me?

Drizzleface | 32 Moons | She-cat | Medicine Cat | Location: Outside Camp | Mentions: Novasong

Drizzlefaces face lit up upon seeing one of the warriors approaching her. She smiled brightly, her blue eyes shinning at the prospect of company. She knew very little of the former Skyclan warrior, and was thrilled at the chance to get to know her more. The only thing she really knew about the other she-cat is that she'd been born a kittypet. While many warriors would look down upon her for this, it made no difference to Drizzleface. Novasong had proven herself to be a formidable warrior, and she respected the other for it. She must have had a lot of courage joining a clan after living as a kittypet. Reflecting on the felines current situation, she realized that beginning your life all over again was not something that was new for Novasong.
Scooting further to the far side of the boulder, Drizzleface patted the space beside her with her fluffy tail, inviting the blue-grey she-cat to join her on its large, soft mossy surface.
"How was the Dawn Patrol?" Drizzleface quickly began a conversation, eager to be the first to hear of the early patrols report. "Any sign of foxes near our border again?" The medicine cat suppressed a little shiver at the thought of facing a fox alone while out collecting herbs. She had basic battle training, but nothing that would be any sort of match for a fox. Although Drizzleface thought of this place as home now, she never felt safe without a warrior with her.

Eaglecry| 71 moons| She-cat| Windclan Deputy|Location: Camp| Mentions: Blizzardthistle[briefly}, Meadowstar, Cinderpaw{briefly}, Whisperstar

Eaglecry shook her pelt and stepped out into the brisk morning air. She took a moment to survey the camp and smiled seeing Meadowstar and Cinderpaw in the middle of training. She had finished her recent apprentice's training not long before the fall and now she had the time she needed. She, however felt something was missing. She slammed her ears back hearing the raking of claws, seeing it was Blizzardthistle, the molly sighed exacerbated as she began to saunter over to a small collection of cats near the center, only to stop after noticing Whisperstar, rerouting herself and going to speak with one of their leaders.

Cinderpaw | 9 moons | She-cat | Apprentice | Location: Camp | Mentions: Meadowstar

The young cat's ears perked with Meadowstar's mention of hunting. She had always prided herself on being a great hunter for her age, with both the agility to run across tree branches and a natural aptitude for making large leaps that allowed her to snag prey from the treetops. If there was one good thing about where the clans had decided to settle, it was that the landscape was covered with enough trees to mirror her old home, and lend her some comfort in their alien situation.

"Hunting sounds great! When can we go? Can we go now?" Cinderpaw chirped, voice bright with eagerness. She firmly believed that the one of the best remedies for a chilly morning was action, and hunting so happened to be one of her favorites. With the thrill of an upcoming hunt sending energy coursing through her veins, Cinderpaw's tail flicked almost impatiently, before pausing as a thought crossed her mind.

"Actually.. should we see if anyone wants to come with us?" She asked, casting a quick scan around their camp. Cinderpaw could think of at least one other apprentice who could also benefit from the valuable training time, and the cats could always use more fresh-kill. Though the grey apprentice didn't mind some private training time between her and her mentor, practicality stated that training with others offered her more methods of learning, and as always, the more the merrier.

Meadowstar | 40 Moons | She-cat | Leader | Location: Camp | Mentions: Cinderpaw

Meadowstar purred in amusement at the young she-cats eagerness. So full of energy. Although very young for a leader, Meadowstar had been through lots during her time as a warrior, and after that in leading her clan. She didn't have that youthful energy many warriors possessed at her age. By no means did she not have the energy to keep up with the daily routines of their life though.
"Hmmm..." The former Shadowclan leader stopped, considering her apprentices question. She'd wanted some time for one on one training, to assess how the grey furred apprentices hunting skills were doing, however it would be more enjoyable for Cinderpaw to have another apprentice to train with. And the more cats, the more prey we can bring back.
"You know, that's a good idea. I'd wanted to have some one on one training, but we can always do that another time." Meadowstar smiled at her apprentice, and pointed to the cluster of dens where most of the apprentices slept with her tail. "Why don't you go see if any of your den mates want to come?" A cool breeze began to blow through the forest, and Meadowstar had to raise her voice over the dull roar of the wind, as it passed through the trees. Her long fur was plastered to the side of her body for a moment, before the wind died down. "You can meet me by the camp entrance and then we can head out!"

Hawkstone | 33 moons | tom | former WindClan warrior | location: just outside of camp | mentions: Goldenflame, Meadowstar, Cinderpaw

Hawkstone crouched, stiff and unmoving, watching the rabbit as it picked its way through the dirt. While he could have gone out to the moor to hunt, he didn't want to make any cat think he was up to something, going out so far on his own. Despite having renounced the Dark Forest, no cat really trusted him, and he had no intention of making their marginal amount of faith in him go away.

His tail twitched involuntarily, and the rabbit looked up, nose twitching. Hawkstone exploded out of the brush, claws outstretched, running for the rabbit, but he was a second too late and the small creature was already bolting through the woods, nimbly dodging trees as it ran. He pursued the rabbit for only a minute before giving up. It's this StarClan-cursed forest, he thought. I can't catch anything in here.

He turned and headed back into camp, just a few minutes away. As he passed through the entrance, though, he heard Meadowstar, the ShadowClan leader, and her apprentice discussing a hunting patrol. He paused, thinking, before making a decision. Maybe this would help the remaining warriors - and Goldenflame - realize that he could be trusted. "Meadowstar!" he called out. "Do you mind if I come along?"

Novasong| 37 Moons | Female | former SkyClan warrior| Location: Outside Camp | Mentions:Drizzleface

Novasong knew almost nothing about the medicine cat- after all, she was never interested in what they did. The she-cat was used to waiting out her injuries, laying under the brush for the pang of pain given off by her scratches to recede. This extended to clan life- the strong smell of the plants and herbs in the den always repelled her. She was used to the acidic stench of the city, of course, but even that was different from the natural reek of the medicine den. She really would rather not go there. Hopping up next to Drizzleface on the rock and curling her tail around her legs, she looked towards the other cat. The smell was a lot lighter- more of a sweet smell along with the familiar odor of the forest. She usually didn't mind what something smelled like. Drizzleface was a bit different.

"Hello there." she spoke, turning her head to face her, the warrior's red, broken eye looking straight at them. Adjusting her paws a bit, scratching some of the moss off the stone with extended claws, she gave them a courteous nod. "Nothing at all on the patrol- a few scratches on trees and whatever, and a few old scents. Absolutely nothing for one of us to get worked up about." She gave a small shrug of her shoulders. "Either way, a few foxes against all of us shouldn't do a thing. If we survived spirits we'll survive some woodland critters that can't even climb." Looking around her, not appearing to care or notice the water below her, she continued to speak. "I suppose you were out here to get those plants of yours."

Mentions: Meadowstar, Hawkstone, Cinderpaw

The lithe she-cat scurried back into camp. Dawn patrol had been business as usual, no excitement to be found. Though that wasn't something she minded. A bit of regularity kept her sane through all this chaos, after all. Her mottled coat was still wet from the morning dew as she perched herself atop a root to groom it back into place. Cats dotted the camp, going about their own schedules. Some were familiar to her and others she had yet to learn the names of. Even if things had calmed down and resumed some sort of normal, it was still a bit overwhelming for the feline.

Her sapphire eyes came to rest on a clump of cats lingering in front of the apprentice den. Her posture and ears perked up as she strained to pick up their conversation. Something about hunting, was it? She wouldn't mind a bit of prey catching. It was better than sitting around camp all day, at least. Her paws landed on the ground with a soft thump as she leapt from her perch. Strolling over to the group in a nonchalant manner, she came to a stop beside a much larger tom. Other than their comical size differences, she didn't know much about him. What was his name again? Hawkthorn? No. Hawkstone? Yeah, that sounds right.

Shaking her head to clear it of her pondering, she turned to address Meadowstar, "Hunting does sound nice, when are we leaving?" She chimed in after a moment, a bit of a humorous tone creeping into her voice. "That is, if you're alright with me coming. Of course." She added with a laugh. Her stumped tail wagged behind her, a soft smile plastered on her marbled face. The sight of her former clan's leader and apprentice calmed whatever nerves had been eating at her earlier. She hadn't spent much time in the presence of her former clan members since the attack and loss of her mate. Perhaps a bit of hunting with them would do her some good. At least it couldn't hurt.
