Mutated - Role Play ThreadIntroductionHumans. They thought they were the most powerful creatures on Earth. But of course they were proven wrong. Another species, who were very much like humankind, stepped forward and revealed themselves. The members of this species are believed to be the next stage of evolution and have gained extraordinary powers. They were known to humans as Mutants. But humans are not known for their acceptance. Many, but not all, believed that the Mutants were a threat and the Mutants were forced back into hiding. But some Mutants weren't interested in hiding and decided to fight back against human rule. These Mutants believe that they should be the superior species on Earth and will do whatever is necessary to rule. The tension between Mutants and humans is rising. A war may be coming. Are you a human? Or are you a Mutant? But more importantly... whose side are you on? Rules- Follow ALL rules on Lioden! This is an on-site role play! (Official LD Rules HERE) - Romance, Drama, Violence, etc. is allowed but all Lioden players are 16 years or older so keep it PG-16! No extreme gore or intimate scenes please! Have it fade to black or something. - LGBTQ+ Supported. If you have a problem, don't join. - This is Semi-Literate! Please post AT LEAST 2 sentences during the role play! We need something to work with and this is not very hard to achieve. - Swearing is allowed just don't overdo it. Nobody likes people or characters who swear too much and unnecessarily. - No Mary/Gary Sues! No overpowered characters! People can be stronger than other people but everybody has weaknesses! - Contact the other player before killing/seriously injuring their character. Don't just say they are suddenly dead because you blasted them or something. - This is a CHILL role play! Post when you can and I'd appreciate it if you could post once a week. If you need to leave or take a break from this just post in the discussion thread or let me know! - I'm not making limited spots yet but make sure you can still handle all your characters if you want to make more than three. Logan Wolf|Male|30|Uninvolved Mutant|Animalistic Abilities|Mentions: Open Logan stepped out of the dimly-lit bar and into the sunny street with a bottle of beer in his hand and a roll of cash in his pocket he earned from winning all his cage fights. Humans milled around the streets wandering around the small shops and paying for parking tickets. Logan wondered where he should go next. It was still late in the morning and he didn't have anything planned today. Logan ran a hand through his hair while taking a sip from the bottle. His hair was still messy, as per usual, and the last time he checked, which was this morning, he still had stubble on his face. Maybe he ought to go back to his apartment and shave... With a mental shrug, Logan yawned and started walking. (Okay so this is just a starting post. Logan isn't doing much right now. The Allied could be in town and just walking around, the Insurgents could be undercover or attacking some stuff, the Eradicators could be undercover or trying to hunt down some mutants, and the Uninvolved could be doing whatever they want.) Taya was wearing a hooded coat as she looked around for a place to hide and to hopefully find a place for her to rest in. Her feet were sore and hurt as she had been running. She entered the bar with her bag on her shoulder as she walked in but she fixed her hood as she was not sure if the people were here either okay with mutants or not. Logan Wolf|Male|30|Uninvolved Mutant|Animalistic Abilities|Mentions: Taya Logan saw a mutant walk past him and turned around to see her heading towards the bar. Her skin was a bold dark blue and her skin wasn't the only thing that made her stand out. Logan would have stopped her right then on the street if she hadn't already entered the bar. Logan turned and entered after her knowing that the people inside there weren't the friendly kind. Even though it was in the morning, the bar was still full with plenty of idiots who were probably drunk. A bar was definitely not the right place to go to if you were a mutant. Logan found a small table next to the mutant and took a seat. The people in the bar were already eyeing the other mutant on the next table cautiously. Soon caution would turn into hostility. Without turning towards the other mutant Logan quietly said, "Don't mind me but I think you should get out of here." Logan scanned the other people in here who were starting to whisper and mutter, "The folks in here aren't exactly friendly". Logan already had to deal with some of the guys in here and they were rude enough when they thought he was human. If they knew he was a mutant Logan had a pretty good idea of what they'd try do to him. Logan glanced at the other mutant, wondering if she knew he was a mutant and how she'd react to his warning. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Taya saw the other as she looked toward the other humans as she saw the look on their faces as she recognized their looks anywhere. She was not sure on where to go as she looked at the male that gave her a warning then she nods,"I-I understand...thank you but I hate to leave you here to be with them..is there a place you know that is safe?" So she'd hate to leave him with them? Why he was just there a couple of minutes ago. Although he did beat most of them up in the cage fight and he was sure they weren't pleased. Although they were the ones who were stupid enough to try cage fighting while drunk. Now... a safe place. Logan guessed he wouldn't have a problem with a guest in his apartment. He knew it was reasonably clean because he didn't have many possessions to mess it up with. Logan nodded while continuing to keep an eye on the other people in the bar, "I have a safe place. She gave a small sigh and continued walking towards the bar. "The usual please." She says as she brushed her lilac colored hair over her shoulder. She could hear some people whispering but ignored them. She had a long morning cleaning up chicken carcasses after a coyote broke into the hen house. The bar keep served her a glass of whiskey with no ice just the way she liked it. She hated coming to the town but she really needed a drink today. It was only after she gulped down the glass that she noticed a blue skinned woman. "Oh wow a mut, and she is really pretty." She then looked at the normal looking man, was he friends with mutants too or was he one of them. She looked around at the people making disgusted looks at the pair. She couldn't help but let out a small laugh and shake her head in disapproval. "They really do look like a bunch of sheep just bleeping to one another." She said before signalling for another glass. Blake Lakefox|Male|26yrs|Insurgent Mutant|Pyrokinesis|Npc(open) Blake walked out a dark alleyway blood stained his shirt and fist. His eyes were cold and emotionless as he turned to walk down the street. He left behind a unconscious near death human man and woman. He wanted them to suffer cold and alone before death. He pulled out a carton of cigerettes and pulled one out. He placed on his lips before lighting it with a match. He didn't care if he was bloody, he can always just say he was attacked in an alley by a bunch of people. If they asked that is, usually they just stared and never asked. He hated humans with every fiber of his being. The fact that they still walked around free made him angry. He took a long drag from his cigarette to help calm himself. His father never left his victims alive but Blake saw it as a win win. If they died well theyvare dead, but if they survived they would be haunted by the memory. 0 players like this post! Like? |

He was a usual customer and was on good terms with the guy who runs the bar since he'd help attract customers by entering the cage fights. He still had the money the owner paid him inside his pocket. Logan spotted a woman enter the bar. She seemed rather amused at the situation. Logan figured he would probably be feeling amused if he wasn't actually in the situation. Logan's eyes drifted away from the woman and continued to assess the situation. After fighting most of the guys in here, Logan knew that it wouldn't take much to get things out of hand. He already fought multiple matches this morning but a bar brawl couldn't hurt. Well, couldn't hurt him much. The guys he fought probably wouldn't be as lucky as him. 0 players like this post! He started walking past the other tables with the female trailing behind him. His ears could pick up mutters and grumbles from across the bar but none of the people said anything to his face. They’d seen him fight and they knew to avoid him. Most of their hostility was directed at the female instead of him. To the people in the bar Logan was just the guy who the owner paid to fight in the cage. None of them talked to him or knew his powers and Logan preferred to keep it that way. “C’mon, I’ll take you to my apartment,” said Logan, “Just follow me. Taya nods timidly as she stayed close to Logan as she didn't want to cause anymore trouble as her white hair falls and is shown out of her hood as she stayed close. She heard the mutters and gossip about her which made her want to hide more and disappear from the world. She looked at him as she wondered on why a human would want to help her, was he being nice or he is acting nice as she was not able to tell as she followed him to his apartment. 0 players like this post! The apartment was quiet with most of the people out working early or in bed sleeping in late. Logan opened the door to his apartment and let Taya come in. The apartment had a bedroom, a sitting room, a kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower. Nothing fancy but it had everything he needed. Logan grabbed a beer from the fridge and passed a cup of water to the mutant before sitting down at the dining table. “So... I’m guessing you haven’t been around here much after deciding to walk in to that particular bar,” said Logan. “You’re clearly a mutant, what’s your name? Taya walked into Logan's apartment as she never been in anyone's home at all aside from her childhood home and her own in the city. She then takes the cup as her hood still hides her appearance as she is afraid to scare him of her appearance as she then mumbled,"T-Thank you...My name is Taya Ren and w-well.." She then disappeared and reappeared behind him as she sets the empty cup on the counter then she teleports back in front of him. 0 players like this post! Like? |

She debated whether to pop and visit the bar - which was just down the street - or get a cup of coffee at home. Making up her mind, she swiftly walked to the apartment block and took the elevator to get to her apartment. Aurelie reached into her pocket, trying to find her keys. "GOD DAMNIT!" He'd never met a teleporter in person, most of them kept their powers hidden from mutants and humans alike. Well, why not introduce himself. It was only polite after all. "My name's Logan Wolf. My powers are... varied," said Logan. Logan looked at Taya's hood which still covered most of her. "You don't need to wear that hood in here," said Logan, "Nobody in this room has their head full of anti-mutant rubbish." Logan then heard a loud "GOD DAMNIT!" and got up. He opened the apartment door to see Aurelie down the hall at the door of her apartment. She was obviously mad about something. Sticking his head out the door, Logan asked, "Uh, Hello. You alright there?" Logan had met Aurelie when he first moved in and she was nice so Logan hung around with her occasionally.
