For clarification: I am aware that the July event has... many, many problems with its storyline. I want that to be rehauled entirely.
What I'm suggesting is that either the characters are put in a different storyline, or they appear during another event.

I agree; July was definitely my favorite event and I'd rather not see it scrapped entirely. Despite the highly problematic writing of the storyline, the branching endings, quest mechanics and variety of possible rewards were more interesting than any other event. Most of the other storylines for events are extremely linear and I found them uninteresting the second time around.

(June is probably the worst offender, as it forces the exact same ending and monotonous snake battling quests despite having three different Egyptian gods, who have distinctly different personalities. We know that Anubis and Bast used to be in a relationship, and Seth is the father of Anubis, those dynamics should give us more to work with.)

I think the best course of action would be to transpose the quest/reward system from July into November, and give that event a storyline with conflict and branching endings, but without the problematic elements. The July characters could also appear in November encounters since Tefnut already meets the shaman named Tefnut. I'll make a suggestion for this.

I personally am glad July's getting a new event, but October BADLY needs an ending and I detest March and August, so, support.

No Support. I'm sorry, but that entire story line is... gross, and rather uncomfortable. I've been around since it originally came out, and every year there are hundreds of posts on how horrifying and triggering it is. It needs to be gone, and it needs to be gone immediately.

July does need some major rehauling, but it does not need to be replaced entirely. Characters like Tefnut, Menhit, and Apollyon are iconic and have existed for years. Revamp the storyline's writing, yes, but don't remove these characters. Instead, take time to fix other events and make them pop out.

I disagree. It needs to be entirely replaced. Because even if you change the storyline, in my opinion the characters are already directly linked to the god awful storyline that already occurred.

yeah, I've been here for a while and I hate the July storyline. i do think characters like tefnut, apolloyon, and menhit can be moved into another storyline, but apedemek needs to be removed entirely. i 100% see where you're coming from though.

Support- October is entirely unfinished!! As October is one of the best ones imo it really does need an actual ending or a neutral route that actually does something- July may be messy, but it can stand on its own for some time. A revamp of the writing, definitely. But other events need it more.

List of the events I feel need something to stand on:

- Feburary needs SOMETHING extra. Not much, but something.

- May also needs to be finished up.

- August and January can be a bit similar at times. August storyline maybe- it was my first event and I want to see it get better. Probably not much is needed for this one- even a simple quest without any varied choices is fine.

- Finish October! This should be a main priority!! The SEPTEMBER story finishes, but October just cuts off? September, which leads up to October, shouldn't have the more complete storyline over October.

- November NEEDS a storyline. It's basically ASKING for one and it needs to happen.
