Okay okay okay- before I lose literally everyone: I don’t mean brand new decor for muties, or EVERY decor.

Just hear me out.

I recently got a felis, and I’m so excited, however in an attempt to dress her up in some cute decor, ive noticed that- well.

None of it freaking works!

Now this I expected for the most part. It’s why I strayed from decor such as scars and the likes, what did I want to do? Decor that went in FRONT of her.

Like, well- take example, one of the adoring male decors.

I thought this MAY work, I didn’t, obviously, and I’m frustrated; so here’s my idea:

Instead of ALL decor being mutie friendly, because I understand it takes time, decor that goes in front of a lion/behind it, is adjusted like it is for Cubs, adols- so on.

Obviously this may be a bit harder to get in, but once it is I think it will be very easy to make decor that works for every Lion. Again, I’m not talking a complex decor like a mane, I’m talking like an Adoring Male, chilling Apollyon decors that got directly in front of a lion.

This may be a rage fueled bad idea, please let me know, and if time is given I’ll make a couple mock-ups. Thank you for your time lovelies!

I think I get what you mean.

One can obviously not expect for every single decor to be redrawn so it fits with the body, but decors that aren't exact accesories (Helmets, necklaces, piercings, wings etc) but more of items laying besides a lion (all the aging animal decors, chilling Apdemak, Laharu, Provoked cape cobra etc) that don't require a redraw when fitting it for different stages could be expected to be re worked so that they aren't as inconveniently placed when a mutation is in.

I'm not sure how hard it would be to code? There is already a code in place that recognizes that if it has the say, primal trait, it should trigger a different lineart and colouring. I think it could work by a similiar way, that if the lion has a specific trait then it should placed in a different wY than normal. It might be more complicated than that.

I get what you mean, and have this addition:
Every year we get more new decor. Even if we're waiting on other decor updates, new decor should be made to fit muts too.

You can't have CD that is just normal decor but doesn't cover your felis'es face :/
It literally goes against the rules LOL.

Nevermind that it is, pretty hard to get CD, not just because of expenses purchasing it, but because good luck finding anything that is remotely relevant to you *and* is for sale. There is pretty minimal CD for primal variations, the majority is for Tigons, lethals and other exotic muties. If alas no cigar, assuming that you have a style that doesn't blend with the Lioden artstyle, you have to find an artist that is willing to draw the desired thing for you, and the minimum prices are about 40 gb.

Not everyone can cough up that amount or wants to, just so that the flirty male doesn't cover your muties face. Hell, it would be usefull if you had the option to pose female muties, which doesn't affect the lineart but vastly changes the placement of decor which could be tweaked with enough to look Okay.

An old post still, but hear me out, I have an idea.

There's another site out there dealing with virtual animal collection, though way less interactive. It's ChickenSmoothie, and they ALSO have a decor option. Now, however, with the decor they have, you are able to move it around the page and even flip it n such (and possibly resize, too, but I would have to check) While I couldn't imagine that would be easy to code, making items manipulative could allow users to ensure the wolves and snakes and other front animals won't cover your lions face, and the staff wouldn't have to redraw. Additionally, users could get even more creative with their decor setups!
