Your art is so beautiful! I'm not that good with pricing, but I'd say you definitely shouldn't price your full bodies lower than 15GB! Maybe even not less than 20GB ($10), especially for your detailed LD lion art! Don't undersell yourself, and decide on your prices based on what you feel is fair (for the time spent on the piece, are you earning minimum wage at your prices and do your prices motivate you to do your art). I hope this is somewhat helpful!

That's so sweet of you to say thank you!
It's not my first rodeo in the art department but I often feel a disconnect with LD prices vs CS, DA, etc. Since they often vary but I think 15-18GB would be a good start for flat color full bodies! [the first three above are page dolls - realized I should specify what they are so I'll be adding descriptions shortly!]

Icons, Avatars, and Bustshots are where I get muddy with prices. I don't want to put them too high to where no one will take a look at my shop but I also don't want to lowball it either.

Maybe I'll start off with fullbodies and if they gain traction do smaller commission work?

@NXMXRE I know what you mean about being unsure with LD prices- people often lowball art on here, sadly. Usually, 5-8GB is a good starting point for flat colored headshots and 8-10GB is a good starting point for busts. It is a bit tricky to come up with the best prices for these in the beginning. But luckily, you can always edit your prices if they seem too low (ie. you feel like you're getting too many commissions too quickly, or if you feel the quality and effort you put in doesn't match the amount you're being paid). Ultimately, I think you should price at what you feel is fair for your art. I wish you all the best in your art, and I'm excited to see you open your shop!

^^ Thank you as well and I apologize for the late response I had to retire my Queen's recently.
It really is difficult to guestimate it on my own and it's saddening to see folks lowball themselves. However, prices fluctuate depending on events, trades, etc, etc. Plus, if you want to sell anything here you've gotta gauge prices and demand.

That's pretty sound advice! I've done some stalking of other art shops and I agree with your observation. It appears the average price for headshots is 6 and busts is around 8. Hopefully, I will be opening up a shop here soon but I'll have to wait and see what my schedule looks like while finals are looming over.
