A large shadow prowled trough the lush savanna. Perfectly hidden by the night's gentle and calm emebrace. Emerald tinted eyes reflected upon the landscape. As the beast parted his large gapeing maw, drawing air into his mouth as he tasted the wind. Searching for any traces of intruders. With the ever growing tension between the two tribes...it was vital to stay alert. King Amaziah, migty ruler of the marsh pride trained his gaze on the horizon. Eyes narrowing as he pulled his lips into a snarl.

Let Azizi come...if she wants bloodshed, then he will give the wicked Queen a bloodbath. His home, family, pride, cubs and his territory rested upon his soulders. And like any king, he WILL defend what is his to the very end. He WILL protect his family...

Midnight Spark, who had been through hundreds of fights lived in the same territory as the other lion pride. She was a loner at this point but she wouldn't dare harm the others unless it was the other side who harmed her first. Then she would attack. But she hoped it wouldn't come to that.

She sniffed the air to see if there where any lions nearby.
To her surprise, there were none, so she headed over to the watering hole to relax and hope for the best. She sat by the water and looked around her. Hoping that nothing would come at fight, for she was tired and didnt have the energy to even talk.

The brute of a male -well not really in a sense- perhaps just his size and intimidating looks, turned around to return when a new scent made his fur rise in alarm. Snarling lowly he turned around and followed it. It wasn't long befire he observed a figure near the watering hole. With a mighty roar, he flung himself towards the female. Comeing up from behind and making sure he was downwind, he easily bowled her over. Pinning her down, he lowered his head.

"Who are you?!" He snarled lowly, his eyes ablaze. For emphasis he slightly dug his claws into her fur...just barley breaking the skin.
"One of Azizi's? " He continued, but when silence was his only awnser, he lost his patience. Takeing both paws he hovered her head near the water's edge...
