Inside the heart kingdom lived a hybrid princess, she was dazing out into the dusk kinda minding her own business. Though rumors spread around the kingdom like hellfire, it was said that a war was breaking out between the Ridge kingdom and the neighboring kingdom. The father of the heart kingdom was not so pleased that a war was breaking out, he was kinda worried about not only war but his friend's family safety. He knew that his sons could fight alongside his friend's sons but he feared for their safety, the soon to be queen took her gaze off the beautiful dusk since she heard her maids right outside her door talking about the rumor that they heard.

Laika was exhausted as the sun set. Her and two guards were crossing the final peak that sepatated the Ridge and Heart Kingdoms - as they crested it, they saw the castle in the distance, and Laika sighed in relief. She'd been walking for three days straight through perilous highland terrain, but tonight she could sleep in a nice bed and put her worries aside for one evening. In the next few weeks, more Ridge civilians would filter in, children and young mothers who wouldn't be safe inside the city walls. Laika had been sent ahead due to her rank.

They moved faster once the Heart Kingdom's capital was in sight. The sun was dipping into darkness when they arrived at the castle walls, and Laika stood in silent awe, surprised by the towers and banners. Her own home had been in disarray for months, everyone scrambling and debating on what to do. Here, it felt peaceful, and she was suddenly glad to be so far from the Ridge Kingdom, even if she would miss her family.

There were guards all aroud the suburb area, one of the guards saw them and went over. as soon as the muscular guard approached them he bowed a little to the small princess, " your highness..I will be escorting you to the castle, his majesty's orders" he said rather calmly, and straightned his posture after bowing to her. he stood patiently as he eyed her guards but then at her. While that was happening the hybrid queen to be walked out of her room, so did her brothers, all 5 of the hybrid siblings heads to the throne room, all formally dressed. their parents were waiting for their kids and kinda waiting for princess Laika, the puzzled female looked at her parents wondering what's going on.

"Thank you," Laika said softly. Her guards fell back as the Heart Kingdom guards took over, watching her go before leaving to head home. She looked around curiously as she was led through winding hallways and up tall staircases.

Intruige was slowly taking over her longing for the Ridge Kingdom. She'd heard that this kingdom had a princess her age, and she was excited to meet this stranger. She hoped they could be friends.

He lead her to the throne room, he opened the door and looked at the king kinda signaling that the guest was here. He nodded to the male, " come on in we don't bite princess" he said warmly and inviting to the female, Twilight did see who her dad was talking to, though she has never seen her before. who was she and how does her father know her?.

She stepped into the room slowly, looking at the decorated walls with surprise. "Hello," she said, "I'm Princess Laika." Hoping to instill a good first impression, she bowed, ducking down with her arms behind her in the formal way of the Ridge Kingdom.

King Dan looked at her, " nice to finally meet you" he said to the bowing female, he turned to his daughter " can you show the princess around dear?" he asked her, the hybrid female hesitated for a moment, "yes father" she said and walks over to her, her figure seemed small and scrawny but she is a hella good fighter, despite her figure. " hello i am princess Twilight i'll be showing you around my kingdom" she said as she did a curtsey to the other.

"Hi." Laika stood taller than Twilight, and smiled at her. As they headed into the hallway, she crossed her arms, rubbing the fabric of her sleeves absentmindedly. "So... is the Heart Kingdom nice?"
