A man in his 50's appeared on the tv, his smile wide as a list of names began moving from the bottom of the screen to the top. "I'm glad to be the one announcing everyone who will be sent out tonight! Remember, place your bets on who'll kill the most!" With a whisper, he added, "I bet on the Spectre and the Wolf Goddess already." A woman walked to his side, "Quit the nonsense talk and hurry up and announce already." The mad nodded wih an eyeroll, 'Yes ma'am." He began reading off the list of names perking up when he noticed anyone who was famous.
When the man finished, he smiled back at the camera. "Can't believe that Spectre girl had been sent out again! She never skips a day. Not that the Wolf Goddess ais any less impressive." He shook his head but still smiled.

Dahlia sighed as she turned off the tv, "Not that I care. It's better when I have something to do." She stepped out the door into the cold air, cursing the weather.
Winter had arrived a week ago, and the first snow would set in soon. Dahlia just hoped it wouldn't be today.
She gazed up at the sky, streaked with red and orange as the sun was beginning to set. There was a chance she'd never see it again, and she always knew it. Eveyday was like this, but Dahlia was used to it. This was like a gamr to her now, a deadly game she earned fame through

MidKnight had watched the tv and noticed she was been sent out today.
Fun she thought. "Pack are we ready to go?" The pack replied "Yes" Let's go" She opened the door and lead the pack outside.
She ran towards the outside her black hood up as usual. Her pack followed her. Even with her hood up, her pack made it quite visible who she was.

Dahlia slipped through the streets easily, not many people paying attention to the pale girl. To them, she was just someone passing through the streets. Dahlia chuckled to herself, not just somone passing through the street.
It didn't take long for Dahlia to get to where everyone would be sent out. The long line and all the news reporters waiting outside the sleek white building was enough to tell her.
Just for effect, Dahlia let wisps of darkness and shadows trail behind her, occaisonally letting them circle around her. A few heads turned her way, and the more she went into the crowd, the more people who paid attention to her.
Dahlia waved at a reporter to called out her name and moved on, pushing past everyone to reach a man holding a clipboard. "Dahlia Snow, sir." The man looked up with surprise in his eyes, "Glad to finally meet you! Head over there where you can wait." He checked in the box next to her name, and she assumed he was there to make sure everyone showed up.
Dahlia reached the set of couches and sat down at an empty one, gathering the shadows around her to create an aura of darkness. She always enjoyed the shock that passed through peoples' faces as they realized who she was.

MidKnight ran to the send out point. She arrived not even out of breath. She smiled as a man approached. He had a clipboard. "MidKnight BlackWolf."
"Of course. Just sit down on a couch while we check if everyone has got here."
MidKnight inclined her head and sat on a empty couch. Moon and Snowfang jumped up with her and laid eithier side of her. The rest of the pack laid at her feet.

Dahlia looked over at the figure and the wolves that had followed her. So the Wolf Goddess has arrived. She was about to head over to introduce herseld when a tall and lean figure sat down next to her. Dahlia didn't have to look over at him to know it was Max. He was only a year older than her, and she owed her survival to him. He was the one who had taught her how to survive out there, afterall.
She recognized him by the scent of pine that followed hin everywhere and his bronze skin. "Together tonight?" She asked, though they almost always teamed up anyways. Max nodded with a wide smile. Dahlia stood up and turned to Max, "I'll meet you at the tree. Don't be late." Max nodded and waved her away, "I know, I know. Go do what you always do."
Dahlia shrugged, she was used to him always dismissing her quickly. She walked over to MidKnight and smiles at her. "Nice night for some hunting, do you think, Wolf Goddess?" She asked.

"May I sit?" Dahlia asked, eyeing the wolves. Maybe tonight she could get MidKnight to come along with her and Max. It would definitely make things more interesting. Most people teamed up anyways. It was safer and by far more fun, not that risking your life could ever be counted as fun. "Of course, if you don't mind."

Dahlia offered a slight smile amd slowly moved to sit next to MidKnight on the couch. "Any plans for tonight? Teams you'll be joining later?" She glanced over at Max who was sitting by himself, talking with someone a few feet away. "Or specific targets and places you'll go to?"

"I don't tend to team. And targets? Anything the wolves prefer to attack. Some are easier for them than others. We probably will go to the dark forest."

"Well, I guess everyone has their preferences." Dahlia said. She hadn't ever known anyone well who had animals, much less those who relied on them. Not that she knew much people though.
Ironic, a famous hunter who only have one friend.
She nodded, "That's a good place. Me and Max will probably go to the Ruins. His power is well suited for there and it's beeb quite some time since we've been there.
Dahlia had to appreciate Max's kindness. He was easygoing and never really cared about where to go and what to do. He never asked about her family, and Dahlia felt he was the only peraon she could ever trust her life with.
But being this close to him also meant rumors. People thought hey were together, and Dahlia couldn't think of anythinf more stupid.

"Yeah, it is pretty good. The wolves prefer the forest it is easier for them to hunt. Plus if they need food they can quickly grab some there too. Lots of rabbits."
