MidKnight and her pack were fine. They were having fun as they began to pull the monster apart into bits. MidKnight's bit tore first her being the strongest of them all.

The monster roared in pain, sharp claws slashing at whatever was close enough. It was bleeding heavily now, no doubt it would get tired soon. Dahlia slashed at the monster with her shadows, letting out the anger she sometimes kept bottled up inside her.

The wolves held on. They were used to a rodeo. Before they fought monsters, taking down a deer was simliar just slightly less dangerous.
MidKnight threw hers away before going in for more.

Dhalia chuckled, enjoying how the monster roared in pain but couldn't seem to do much damage to anyone. She held shadow daggers in her hand and sliced at its thick skin.

All of the wolves except Laska tore off massive bits of the monster.

The monster's movement slowed, and it seemed to almost stop fighting. Dhalia took this moment to change her daggers into a sword and stabbed the monster's back. She pulled the sword out and grimaced at all the blood on the ground, and yet, her lips still pulled up in a slight smile. The monster was going to die either from its wounds or the people attacking it. Blood loss couldn't be ruled out either.
Dahlia would have cheered, if not for the fact that Max was still slumped against the wall.

"Hey, uh, MidKnight, do you mind if I go check on Max? You can finish off he monster with your wolves," Dahlia said to MidKnight, watching the monster hiss in pain.

"I don't mind. You go check on him. We have got this." She said as she jumped at the monsters she went for the neck. The other wolves dove in attacking it's legs making the monster unstable.

The monster fell with a thud, but snapped its teeth at a wolf. Its tail lashed back and forth, sometimes trying to wack a wolf.
Dahlia ran to Max's side, "God, Max. How do you feel?" Thoughts were racing through Dahlia's head, she had no idea what to no. Not once in her life had she ever been around someone injured, much less tried to help him.
Max winced as he tried to push himself into sitting position, but stopped once the pain hit in. He took a few deep breaths, which seemed to hurt, as he winced again. "Might have broken a few ribs," he said with a forced smile.
"Why are you smiling when you're lying against a wall, who knows how close you are to death?!" Dahlia asked, clearly worried.

MidKnight and her wolves jumped away form the monster. They kept an eye on it to see if it would stand up.

The monster tried to stand, but ended up falling. It roared in pain, and Dahlia looked over. She pitied the monster, tonight it would die. Monsters were doomed to dead when they came across a hunter who knew what they were doing. She almost felt bad. Almost.
A surge of hatred washed over her pity. The monster could have killed Max tonight. It should die, thruthully, all monsters should die. "Finish it, MidKnight. This monster needs to be sent to hell." The hatred and anger mixed with frustration in Dahlia's voice would have made even herself shocked. But now wasn't the time to be surprised bh herself.
Next to Dahlia, Max's breatheing was slightly raspier. "The stars are beautiful toniggt, you know," he said. Dahlia offered a half smile, "Sure. How are yoh feeling?"

MidKnight nodded. She launched upon the monster and tore it's head off.

Max chuckled, but pressed a hand to his chest as a bout of coughs took over. "I feel fine, Spectre," he muttered, clearly lying.
