So the prices weren't adjusted from last year. Even the past years, the prices were expensive, but manageable. But since the event is getting rewritten, I think the prices should be, too. 2,000 shards for a marking applicator is just insane. Compared to all the other events, this is the most expensive. In all other events, the base apps are usually around 100-500 event currency. Compare that to July's 3,000. For example, December's Frostbitten base app is 120 event currency. Compare that to July's Demiurge base app, which is 3,000. That's a 2,880 difference. I understand that the prices were, at the very least, manageable in the past years since shards were easier to acquire. But since the event itself is being rewritten I think the prices should also be, and many others in the chat when the shop opened agree. At the very least, just for this year knock the prices down since we're missing over a fourth (1/4!) Of the event this year! This got 50 supports in the first day of being up! Thank you! And now 100 supports within 2 days! |

I think my ability to support this depends on what the new event ends up bringing in terms of explore encounters, potential questing, etc. If it's the same shard turnout as the old event, the current prices would be fine. If not, the prices need to be adjusted entirely. HOWEVER, prices should be adjusted for the missing 8 days regardless of what ends up happening in the event news on the 8th. Not a permanent adjustment, but just a "this year shop prices will be lower because you missed a good chunk of the event". I think that's something that needs to happen regardless.  0 players like this post! Like? |

Supporting this for what Jester said above. We were delayed 8 days into the event, and I'm barely even getting any shards from explore. The quests were what gave you that big push last year, and there are none as of now. (Maybe on the 8th?) The currency drops are different July vs like December for example, as you could easily manage 2,000 with the help of quests, but again there's that delay. So that comparison is a little indifferent. However though, I vaguely remember only being able to get like ... one applicator last year. Maybe two. Whereas in most events I'm able to get a good handful. But again, you make a good point that the event is being tweaked. If the quests they give us give a better shard count, then maybe that'll be ok, but I highly doubt it. 0 players like this post! The exploring itself gives you a decent amount of shards every so often, but its still inexcusable for how high the prices are, they are an absurd amount, and it doesn't help that there's no other way to get any more until we see the update in the 8th If they don't bring down the prices then hopefully they'll be generous with the system and make it far easier to get much more shards 0 players like this post! Personally I wish there was an option in the shop to buy things with EITHER SB OR Shards. This way people can decide how they want to spend their currency. I'd be more likely to buy apps if I could use SB for them. But I do agree with the person above me; either they need to listen to what the users want and lower the prices, or make shards much more easy to get in explore. 0 players like this post! Like? |

From what I can gather, the item rewards were always around 100-200 shards, and even though thats a lot, it'll still only give enough for 1, maybe even 2 apps if you do it EVERYDAY, and since we're not even sure what will happen on the 8th, that's a lot of shards being lost, not to mention the other explore encounters and ways to get shards from last year 0 players like this post! I think nobody is listening.... we have NO event encounters yet just the shard encounter, the encounters from the new event will be released at the 8th July before the rework you gained 800-1000 shards EACH DAY and the shop prices didnt change so we will get a ton of new encounters 0 players like this post! there definitely needs to be some price adjustment. even if on the 8th it turns out event encounters give as much shards as they did in the old july, we're missing an entire week of making a normal amout of event currency per day. not to mention the lack of daily quest rewards from old july also massively effecting how much event currency one could get this year. a literal 100-200 daily quest shards a day missing, thats 3100 shards at worst, and 6200 shards at best. (numbers taken from siding with apedemak, menhit and apollyon gave 100 shards daily max) someone say this doesn't massively effect everyone's max amount of shards this year 0 players like this post!
