So in the old July Event, there was the encounter with Apollyon that when you fought him, you would get 30 shards, or if you bowed down, you'd get 10, this was one of my main sources of Meteorite Shards, but with it gone, shard collecting has been much more of a pain.
I say introduce a similar encounter with a new NPC so we have this option again, you could even nerf it to only 20 shards for winning the fight, but it would still help greatly.
