Clash Two clans, forced to live in close quarters with one another for many moons. Until now they have lived in peace and respected one another's differences, sometimes even coming together outside of the gathering in order to share tongues and celebrate a clan's achievements. The clan's leaders trusted and depended on one another in the past, though with the fall of GreenwoodClan's former leader things have taken a turn down a new path. The new leader has a different perspective on life and finds CoveClan's dependency on twolegs distasteful, sickening even. Spurred by this and their own selfish reasoning, they have called off all truces with their neighbours and fully intend to cause bloodshed if the right moment arises. This has caused chaos in both clans. For CoveClan, they are preparing for a war they had never expected and for GreenwoodClan, allegiances are being made between those who are in favor of their new leader's standpoint and those who oppose it. Troubling times are ahead for all cats caught in this feud. What lengths will both clans go to in order to prevent or provoke this war?
Current Season: Mid leaf-fall. Current major events: *A pair of rogue dogs has moved into the twoleg fishing village.

Cats were already stirring from their slumber in both camps, their breath sending puffs of mist to intermingle with the dense fog settled over the island. Warriors that had already been chosen for the dawn patrols were sent out to survey the land, their paws and coats heavy from the layer of dew on the ground. The twoleg's fishing village seemed to be gradually springing to life. The bordering ocean's waves were calm and methodical, and not even the slightest breeze threatened to rustle the branches of the forest. Though the day seemed to be starting off on a lull, the anxiety that plagued all of the clan cat's hearts was quite the opposite. There seemed to be a heavy feeling of unease lingering in the brisk air between both camps, and, although the morning had seemingly started out without a single delay, many cats seemed to be feeling the effects of that unspoken worry. Just out of both clan's sights seemed to be an entirely different storm brewing. A rogue pair of dogs had wandered into the twoleg village over night, seeking food and shelter from the cool air. Unaware of the clan's existence, they could potentially pose a threat to any cat unlucky enough to wander into their jaws. Likewise, if they were to discover a clan's camp, it could spell disaster for many warriors. Just how or when they will be dealt with is unknown, as the clans will have to go through the dangerous task of discovering them first. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Silverheart | Den (Greenwood Camp) | Maislpaw Silverheart woke with a yawn, stretching their lithe limbs before standing and shaking out their fur. They padded outside, a thin watery beam of sunlight blinding them as they stuck their head out of the entrance to their cozy den. "Seems it's going to be another wet day today.." They lifted their head, delicately sniffing at the air, picking up traces of their clanmates, as well as small trickles of prey-scent from their hoard. As they scented the air, they caught sight of a small clump of black and brown fur trimmed by white hiding behind a small bush in the center of camp. "Oh boy... Maisl is here early again." "Good morning Maislpaw. How are you this fine morning?" They called out, smiling when the kit jumped in surprise. Maislpaw | Greenwood Camp | Silverheart Maislpaw was waiting outside Silverheart's den for them to wake up, and had been for several hours. He almost fell asleep a few times, but had managed to wake himself with a quick nip to the paw. His paw had been bleeding for the past half-hour, but it was worth seeing the sur- "Good morning Maislpaw." Maisl jumped at least a foot in the air as Silver's voice rang out in the crisp morning air. "U-um, good morning Silverheart! I'm doing well! Just, um, stretching!" He cursed himself in his head as he faked a luxurious stretch, his short tail curling above his head. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Thornpaw|Greenwood Camp|Mentions: Open The quiet slumber of Thornpaw's clanmates filled the air, though chattering could be heard, yet only the quiet chirping of birds in the treetops seemed to reach Thornpaw's ears. Blearily opening her eyes, the she-cat found herself looking at the opening to her clan's territory, lifting her head to glance back at her fellow apprentices. As the light filtered through the entrance, Thornpaw finally got up, taking a moment to stretch, before loping outside, careful to not slip on the seemingly dew-covered rocks. Yet, she found herself turning back to the camp, for some unknown reason, perhaps the idea of crossing the border by accident, and started to lick her side, flicking her ear occasionally, tail draped across her front paws. 0 players like this post! PaintClaw | GreenWood Camp | Mentions: Thornpaw The Siamese she-cat stirred awake. PaintClaw sniffed at the morning air and basked in the familiar sent of the other cats. She quietly left the cave that was still occupied by the sleeping cats. The sun was just beginning to breach the tree line and the air that blew through the trees was brisk. She shivered at the feeling and hopped down the rocks that lead to the borders. She noticed the young tabby patterned apprentice and made her way over. " Hullo Thorn. Your up earlier then most. Is there anything that you need?" RedCrow | CoveClan Camp | Mentions: Open RedCrow woke to the singing up birds. Something that was still unfamiliar to her, but she liked it. Her breath puffed out into the cold morning air and she staggered up from the corner she had been sleeping in. Though she was cold, the young molly left the warm ship. She was careful not to wake the others as she hadn't earned enough respect for them to disregard it. She walks right up to the border, or where she thought it was. Honestly, the entire thing was silly. Everyone was a cat. No one was a twoleg or a dog. But she wanted a home, so she abided by the rules. Sin | Someplace Loner | Mentions: Asmodeus Sin woke beside there brother. They could tell if Asmodeus was awake yet or not so they let him be. Sin shivered and glared jealously at Asmo's coat. It was a fluffy and warm thing, Sin was stuck with the short hair of there mother. Something that they both hated and adored. There green eyes scanned the surroundings with a huff. It hadn't began to snow yet but sooner or later that would begin. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 12/10/21 @ 21:38:35 by Ellesmera ( Lights Off) (#236564) |

GreatWings | CoveClan warrior | CoveClan camp | Mentions; N/A [open] The big warrior stirred in his nest, bringing himself back to reality. He'd been in the middle of a rather nice dream, but had suddenly woken up to the noise of cats meandering about camp. His eyes opened groggily, pale green flashing in the fog-filtered sunlight that made it's way into the warriors den. He huffed. It's so early... Should I get up? He rolled the idea around in his head for a moment, before lifting his head and quickly adjusting his legs so that he was crouching. He stretched his paws out in front of him and arched his back, eyes closing briefly. He stood all the way up and shook his head, forcing himself to wake up. He glanced at the other warriors in their nests, before carefully navigating through them as to not wake anybody. The fog hit him like a damp wall, almost making him stagger back. It's not that he'd never seen it before, but he hadn't expected it to be so heavy today. Regardless, he came to the conclusion that the weather was nice today, and continued forwards into camp, in search of clanmate to speak with. DoveGaze | GreenwoodClan warrior | GreenwoodClan camp | Mentions; N/A [open] DoveGaze was already awake by the time cats began to stir across camp, soft eyes studying the fog with interest. He'd woken just after the dawn patrol left, thankful that he'd escaped that job so closely. He hummed quietly to himself as his gaze travelled across the intricate patterns the sunlight showed in the fog. He loved this kind of weather, as it caused him to feel more at ease, which in turn made it easier for him to speak with other cats. He gave himself a gentle shake, long fur falling perfectly across his slender form. He wondered briefly if he'd be sent out on an early hunting patrol, shivering at the thought. It was a heavy duty that he didn't want to deal with so early in the morning. His amber eyes closed slowly and he let surrounding sounds flood into his ears, his humming ceasing. He heard the rustling of nests, the distant sound of waves, birds chirping their morning songs... In the moment, he looked peaceful. DawnStream | CoveClan medicine cat | CoveClan camp | Mentions; BerryPaw [directly] DawnStream was wide awake, padding back and forth across the den with herbs clenched in his jaws. He was throwing out old herbs this morning and would go find fresh ones shortly after he finished, so that he could sort everything neatly. He dropped wilting chervil into a pile with many other sad-looking plants, then turned in a tight U and returned to the herb store. He used a nimble paw to claw out some goldenrod from it's snug little hollow in the wall. He almost frowned when the plant crunched underneath his calloused pads. Goldenrod was no good when dry, as it was meant to be chewed into a poultice. Unfortunate, because goldenrod was something needed to heal many variations of wounds- although, he did figure he could get by with some sorrel or dock. His eyes travelled to the spot designated for those two herbs. Ah, right. Out of those too. He made a mental note to collect some goldenrod, plus dock and sorrel, on his trip out. He approached the slowly growing pile of bad herbs, dropping the crunchy flowers on top of the wilted chervil. He sighed quietly to himself, head turning to let his green eyes trail across the little cubbyholes where he stored the herbs. Looked like that was it. He looked down at the nasty pile before him. He'd need help carrying this out. BerryPaw. He glanced around the den before calling out."BerryPaw, come here! We need to dispose of the bad herbs!" Smile | Rogue | GreenwoodClan border | Mentions; N/A [open] Smile was prowling along the border of their former clan, taking in the scents of all the strange cats that hadn't been there when they were leader. Their snout wrinkled in disgust. The scents varied so much, some stronger or weaker than the others- did they just let anybody mark the borders these days? Foolish. They moved along quietly, their scarred figure ghostly in the dense fog, pausing occasionally to leave their own scent on a wayward bush or tree just on the edge of the border. They smiled crookedly. Not many cats in the clan were likely to know their scent, but it would certainly freak them out. They left a last mark and faded into the grasses, tall blades and heavy fog hiding them from both view and smell rather exponentially. They were eager to see how quickly, or slowly, the clan would notice their little messages. So for now, they resorted to hiding in the cover of dense dampness and average forest foliage, waiting for some cat, or even a patrol, to stumble across the strange scent on the border. Asmodeus | Rogue | Outside of territories | Mentions; Sin [directly] The tricolor tom awoke suddenly from his sleep, lifting himself off of the ground carefully and stretching, slender figure extenuated. He sat for a moment, swiping his tongue across his already silky fur to push it back into the way it usually looked. In one fluid motion, he stood, yawned, and left the hidden den without a word to his just awoken sibling. The way he trotted confidently across the dewy grass could only be described as graceful, and his lingering gaze as proud. "Sin, come on out, will you?" He paused a few yards away from the den, surveying his surroundings with little interest. He frowned and let out an exaggerated sigh, feigning distraught. "Ugh, it's so humid today! My fur is going to get all frizzy!!" He turned his head at a slight angle to lap at his pelt and flatten it. He lifted a paw to look at the muck that was already stuck between his toes. "Gross." 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 09/10/21 @ 15:00:01 by βπβ (#238465) |

Mothlight| GreenwoodClan- Med Den| Mentions- Open Mothlight woke slowly, stretching his whole body before rising from his nest. He yawned, then padded the short distance to the other side of the den. He peered at the crevasses in the wall where he stored his herbs. His almost-blind eyes couldn't see much, so he raised a paw to feel each rocky niche. Almost out of catmint and dock... He growled to himself. He'd have to get Fawnpaw to dash out and fetch more. He scraped the herbs out and started rearranging them carefully. Acekit| GreenwoodClan- Nursery| Mentions- Mothlight (indirectly) Acekit was awake quickly. She looked around, then sat back on her haunches and rubbed her paws together. She darted out of the nursery, ignoring the grumpy noises coming from the medicine den, and started leaping from rock to rock in the middle of the camp cheerfully. Blade| CoveClan- Tree above Camp| Mentions- Open Blade shifted its weight in the tree, itβs dark pelt hiding it in the shadows. The huge Maine Coon stared into the CoveClan camp. Itβs cold eyes ran over the waking cats with mild curiosity. It had decided to take a break from harassing GreenwoodClan and check out CoveClan. It had a chilling stillness about it as it watched. Geckokit| CoveClan- Camp| Mentions- Blade (indirectly) Geckokit stares down at the sea, watching it go back and forth. She muttered to it for a moment. The tortoiseshell then stood up and walked towards the entrance of camp. βEyes from above see that what we donβt...βShe said quietly, then fell silent and began walking to the windswept tree a little away from the fallen ship that the camp was made of. She stared up at it, her black-white-orange fur standing out like a black cat in the snow. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 09/10/21 @ 16:07:07 by Murderthistle- π― Lights On (#230278) |

Geckokit| CoveClan- Camp| Mentions- Wavestorm (directly), Blade (indirectly) Geckokit turned her head around to stare at Wavestorm. Slowly she shook her head, then fixed her gaze on a tall tree near the edge of camp. βEyes from above see that what we donβt...β she whispered again, the first time sheβd spoken directly to a cat in a few days. βThey never forgive what They cannot forget... she broke off abruptly, curling her tail around her. Her eerie blue eyes flickered back to Wavestorm, then at the tree again. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Swanstar | GreenwoodClan Leader | Location: GreenwoodClan camp. Mentions: N/a. (Directly.) Lilypelt. (Indirectly.) Her piercing blue eyes shot around camp to study the cats going about their dawn routines. She had perched herself atop a rather large boulder in the midst of the sinkhole, her peach-striped tail twitching ever so slightly in thought. It's calm. Good. She hummed softly, allowing her swift gaze to land on the den entrances. In the dark shadows of camp she could just barely make out the creeping, scar-riddled form of her mother. The glimpse, however small, sent a wave of annoyance through her body. Her muzzle scrunched in disdain and she turned her entire body away, flopping her shoulder down against the rough surface of the rock. Running her tongue over her paws as if to wash the agitation away, she narrowed her gaze and pushed the aggravating sight from her mind. It's much to early to be worrying over the likes of... She cut her thoughts off before they could become too sour. Sliding her paws underneath her at least, Swanstar rose to her feet. Arching her back, she took a long stretch before hopping down from her throne and slinking further into camp. She paused momentarily to study the narrow passage leading out of camp. It was hard not to recall the cave in, having lived through it in her dreams many times since. Not only that, but her clan members seemed to find it necessary to remind her of it at every waking hour. Sign from Starclan my tail... She thought with a sniff before hopping onto the steep incline and climbing her way out of the cavern. Brokenpeach | CoveClan Warrior | Location: CoveClan territory - CoveClan camp. Mentions: Greatwings. Having been chosen for a dawn patrol, Brokenpeach had been surveying the land with a group of cats from early on in the morning. By the time he had made it back to camp he was carrying a small sparrow in his teeth, it had been an early morning hunt and something he had to keep from shedding tears over. Even without crying, the warriors accompanying him hadn't been above teasing him for his gentle nature. The thought itself made his eye narrow from embarrassment. Despite his coat being rather short, it was still weighed down by the large amount of moisture it had collected. Everything seemed to be covered in dew this morning and he was no exception. Such a dreary day. He thought while padding along the beach. His red-stained ears twitched ever so slightly to greet the slosh of waves and he kept his one eye trained on the ship in the distance. As he neared camp he was greeted by a familiar tom, one whose coat favoured his own. "Greatwings! Good morning." He called out to the other warrior, offering the older male a flick of his tail as he jaunted past to place the bird into the prey pile. Once he had sat the prey delicately to the ground, he swiveled back around and turned his attention politely back onto the other cat. "How are you fairing this morning?" He asked, slowly plodding over to tom and sitting down to try and groom his water-soaked fur back into place. Kestrelpaw | CoveClan Apprentice | Location: CoveClan territory - outskirts. Mentions: N/a. (Open.) The rambunctious apprentice had slipped out of camp in the early hours of the morning, escaping before even the most diligent of cats had woken up. He had found himself far within CoveClan's territory, having scaled the cliffs and wormed his way into the forest. His dark pelt blended in well with the shadows that the dense trees cast along the ground. If he weren't quite as clumsy as he was he would have all but disappeared into the brush. He was quite clumsy, however. Every paw step that he made seemed to cause a louder and louder noise, each one echoing about to disturb the serenity of the woods. "I wonder if Pebbleleap will be less angry if I come home with a vole. A plump one." He mused as he pranced along. His voice was faint, directed only at himself. She'll probably still be mad. Maybe I should go back? The thought made his ears lie back and he paused his awkward strolling to ponder. Nah, I might as well have fun if I'm going to be scolded either way. He finally decided with a snort, lifting his head and continuing along on the path. Pebbeleap | CoveClan Deputy | Location: CoveClan camp. Mentions: Geckokit, Wavestorm. (Directly.) Kestrelpaw. (Indirectly.) "Where is that careless apprentice?" She said with a hiss, her pine-coloured eyes scanning camp for the young cat's black pelt. No matter how she searched, however, the tom never made an appearance. He'll never prove himself by wandering off like this. When he comes back I'llβ He let her thoughts trail off, a low grumble escaping her throat. She leapt down from a bit of scrap hanging from the ship they called camp, shaking her long pattern-muddled pelt. It was then that a small figure at the edge of the water caught her eye. Geckokit? She thought with a tilt of her head. What is she up to now? Trotting along the sand, she rapidly approached the kit and the warrior standing at her side. They never forgive what They cannot forget... The odd sentence caused her pawsteps to hesitate for a moment. Come again? She thought, a twist of confusion apparent on her face. Ah. At least she's talking again. She sighed and brushed past Wavestorm, dipping her head in a brief greeting to the tom as she passed by. "Geckoβ why are you all the way out here? Are you cold?" She purred to the small cat, studying her splotched coat for a moment before sitting down beside her. She wrapped her long-furred tail around the small kitten, almost engulfing her in the fluff. "Hello, Wavestorm." She properly greeted the warrior at last, her posture straight and poised. She leered quietly for a moment, her brow raising slightly. "Thank you for looking after Geckokit. I presume you have no duties to see to this morning?" 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 09/10/21 @ 20:44:52 by Sleep π± (#44085) |

Sin | Outside of Territories | Mentions: Asmodeus ( Directly) Sin huffed and followed there brother to the slightly colder outside. " You must have it so hard. Having a nice warm pelt that keeps you from freezing in the winter." They said with completely sarcasm as they stretched out. Sin wasn't quite as graceful as there brother but they still held there own. There grace was more of a not be seen grace then a confident, look at me grace. " Asmo, is your fur going to impair your ability to hunt? Cause I'm hungry and I'm going hunting.." Sin pokes slightly. They knew that this could go two ways, with Asmodeus being furious or they could go hunting. But it was a gamble they were willing to take. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Silverheart | Greenwood Camp | Maislpaw, Cricketleap "Good morning Cricketleap. If you wish to be placed on a patrol, I can arrange that. I had not yet begun assigning the mid-morning patrols." Maislpaw | Greenwood Camp | Silverheart, Cricketleap Maisl watched as Cricketleap approached and joined their conversation. He listened as they spoke, hoping he would get to do something fun. Berrypaw ;; Coveclan ;; Mentions: Dawnstream Berrypaw was sitting outside close to the ship, facing toward the sea. Her eyes closed, ears perked; she listened to the calm sounds of the ocean. Oddly calm, she thought. Then, Dawnstream's call from above in the medicine cat's den. It shook her straight to her paws. Taking one last glance toward the ocean, she turned her back and padded along the bottom of the ship. Pebbles and rough sand crunched under her paw pads, calloused enough even at her young age to walk over them comfortably. She leaped up the floors of the ship, nose twitching. A faint, sour stench was coming from the direction of the medicine den. She knew what Dawnstream called her for before she even saw him. Berrypaw turned the corner, stood at the entrance of the den. "You need help?" Of course he does, why else would he call you? she thought. Without waiting for a reply, the spiky-furred tortoiseshell scrambled up to the pile and gathered as much dry, nasty-tasting herbs into her mouth as possible and waited for instructions from her mentor. 0 players like this post! Leopardstar | Coveclan Leader | Location: Coveclan Camp | Mentions: N/A, Open The leader first awoke when the sun's rays first hit the dens of the camp. He had already set the dawn patrols out the night before but anxiety crept into his blood. Something in the air made him worry for his clanmates and others alike. The tom had left his den and laid down on a small box, overlooking the rest of the camp as each member finally stirred awake. Chatter began amongst everyone as the dawn patrol finally arrived back. The hefty cat stretched his body as he hopped off the crate and made his rounds around the other dens. He had checked up on the kits to make sure everyone was there. He checked near the apprentice den to see only a select few. The missing amount worried him greatly but it seemed the cats were alright for now. Other cats were missing as well when he took the headcount but Leopardstar worried not. His clanmates were strong enough to defend themselves. He just hopes that Greenwoodclan wouldn't pull any fast moves. The cat reached the entrance of the camp as his small patrol ended. He was originally supposed to go on a small hunt today but the uneasiness in the air made him stay. The tom stretched once again and sat near the edge of the entrance, watching any cats who left or arrived. The twolegs chatter filled his ears and sprinkles of saltwater landed on his nose. They seemed lively today. Snailwhisper | Coveclan Warrior | Location: Coveclan/Greenwod Clan border | Mentions: N/A, open The brown feline had been set on the dawn patrol for that early morning. She minded being put near the border, as she feared that somehow an ambush would take place. However, the molly couldn't argue against the instructions she was given. The cat trotted a few feet away from the borderline, listening to the leaves of the trees rustle in the wind. The time for her patrol was already up but Snailwhisper thought she didn't do a good enough job. She sniffed around and marked a few spots again before she heard a twig snap. Her body went rigid as she turned around sharply to where the noise was. Her eyes, big with fear, watched as a small creature escaped out of a bush. Her eyes followed.. a mouse as it ran on the land that was across the border. She then sat down to watch the small creature do its own hunting for the day. If only the prey was on her side of the border, she may have gotten the poor lad. But.. watching such an innocent creature try and survive for itself. It was relaxing in an odd way. Snailwhisper took a short break to watch the mouse scurry around. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Silverheart | Greenwood Camp | Maislpaw, Cricketleap Silver nodded as Cricketleap agreed to go on patrol. "You would be hunting. Apprentices don't need to be checking the border yet. However, if you come across something strange, be sure to check it out." They looked over at Maislpaw. "Make sure you follow Cricket's instructions, do you understand me? She is your mentor for the day." They watched Maisl for any sign that he was planning any of his usual tricks before nodding to both and padding off to find the leader. "Good hunting." Maislpaw | Greenwood Camp | Cricketleap, Silverheart Maisl grinned at Cricketleap. "Of course we can!" His enthusiasm dimmed as Silverheart said they would be hunting though. "Yessir..." He mumbled at their pointed question. He glared down at his paws, ears laid back sulkily. 0 players like this post! Like? |
