Drune was making his way home, an apartment where him and his 2 friends lived together. He looked at his watch and sighed. He pulled the phone out of his pocket and started texting the two.
-Yo, I'ma be a little late getting home due to work.-
The bus pulled up to the stop and he climbed on, taking a seat in the back. His curly, raven black hair sticking to his forehead because of the heat.

Aquilo sighed as he listened to the music playing in his headphones as he stood in front of the fridge with doors door open. He was debating on what to cook for dinner as he was in the mood for a home-cooked meal. Feeling his phone buzz Aquilo took it out and read the text from his roommate Drune. He then replied with an ok before going back to looking into the fridge and freezer.

It took a little over 20 minutes for Drune to get home. He walked in the door and threw his stuff on the couch.
"Ugh, hate working at a damn factory. To much labor."
He plopped onto the couch next to his stuff and covered his face with a pillow.

Alexi opened their bedroom door looking sleepy and bleary eyed.

"Hey Drune, hey Aq-quilo. What are you guys up to?" They stuttered out.

Aquilio playfully rolled his eyes at Drune as the male came into the apartment.

"Then maybe I don't know find another job. One you enjoy most likely" the male snarked in a teasing but serious manner. He then turned to Alexi with a smile

"Trying to figure out what to cook for us. What are you wanting to eat Alexi" he gently asked the boy.

Alexi shrugged at Aquilo. "Does, doesn't matter to me. I'm not, not, not very hungry." They answered.

Alexi frowned as they realized their stutter probably wasn't going to stop anytime soon.

"Was work busy or s-s-stupid people?" They asked trying to force their stutter out.

It wasn't going to work; if anything it made it worse and gave them a slight hissing noise on their 's' sounds.
