Hiya! I’m Roni and I’ve been playing Lioden for a month or so. It’s been super fun and I love the game already. I’m just hoping for any advice that I may need. Like a dive you would’ve wanted when you first started playing Lioden?

SAVE SAVE SAVE YOUR GB doesn't matter if you like that pretty lioness you encountered in explore or want to buy those dumb personality masks. SAVE THEM, they're starting to go up in price and just ONE goes for 1000 sb, A THOUSAND SILVER BEETLES!!? And one day you may need them, also, check the value of your lions. I had a scoundrel (VERY RARE) as a nookie and gave it away.... I only have her daughter which has very faint Scoundrel and I can't breed her.

Make sure to study the monthly event! Wiki is your friend when it comes to the mechanics of the game! Dont be afraid to ask for help or for advice in main chat! When you stud to a king be sure to read all the rules!

The Wiki is your best friend when breeding or getting to know anything lioden! Check out some pretty studs you like and I highly recommend joining clans like Feed Lioden (you can grab 2 things in the hoard every day) and Stud Buds (gets discounted studding to lots of lions) (they also have a sister clan which has super pretty lions for discounted studs if you arent worried about stats)! Never be afraid to ask for help and the main goal is just to have fun!

A little bit of advice that I still need to remind myself is patience. This game, from my perspective, is about waiting and waiting and waiting some more. Its a very slow grind as a newbie, and even for me its still an uphill climb, but in the end its definitely worth it.

You don't have the best king, that's okay, but bide your time, build your GB and spend it on something you really want as an heir. Total shuffles, marking applicators, base changers, DONT BUY THEM! This goes for any lion, wait until you have something you're truly happy with (long-term) before you spend all that money on a maybe. You want a hybrid, and you have the funds for one? Wait. February is almost upon us, and that month is full of all the items you need to breed for one. Soo many people are selling discounted hybrid heats in that month, so why spend 300GB on one when you can potentially spend just 20? This particular one is something I've had to battle myself for, wait for the heats, wait for the lucky strike, don't rush. Invest and be patient. Even the smaller things, such as pregnancies, are worth waiting for. Try to avoid IBFing, its only three days, the time will come and you'll still have those 2GBs in the end.

Another thing I want to say is; don't mold your playstyle to fit what everyone else is doing. I know everyone else is talking about BOs, rosettes, mutations, cleanliness, etc, but just because they do it doesn't mean you have to. You like colorbombs, but there aren't any breed only markings? Who cares? Breed away, and enjoy your colors! Do you want natural colors, or monochrome lions? I'm telling you, go for it. There are hundreds of thousands of players on Lioden, there is ALWAYS someone who will buy your lions, no matter what they are. Every preference, every pride theme, and every playstyle has someone who enjoys the same. And if you haven't already started, you don't have to EXCLUSIVELY deal with clean lions! Inbreeding does absolutely nothing to the lion except tick up a meaningless number, and it was only started because of a challenge someone started years ago. Of course, its entirely up to you, but if you don't want to, then don't. Enjoy your lovely lady with the sister-mother, or the cub with an uncle-father, they're still the same lion with or without the inbreeding.

(And also, some more patience never hurts )
