Are you selecting the mane color and then hitting search, or are you typing in the mane color and then hitting search without clicking on it?

If you are selecting it first (by clicking on it or pressing enter), you can try enabling the Alternate Interface at the bottom of the page.

I had written up a bug report and then went to double check that a similar thing hadn't been reported and found this thread! Am replying because it might give mods more info on what is happening. Enabling the alternate interface as Michael suggests does also fix the issue for me and let me search by mane color, but I still think this should be looked into.

What's the issue? Please include any error messages you receive and as much detail as possible.
I am unable to search up lions by mane color both in the general search and in trading center. Selecting a color from the Mane Color box in appearance and hitting search simply shows up as a blank search, and does not show that I ever selected a mane color. Fully clearing my cache/history has had not affected this issue. As far as I've noticed, all other search terms work—it's just mane color I've noticed the problem with.

I usually use Firefox as my main browser. Switching my browser to Chrome (using the same laptop and logging in to the same lioden account), there are no issues with searching mane color. My best guess is that this is a problem with the site on Firefox, as there's been issues before (I know for a long time a den css's custom image for the "lioden" button on the search bar didn't show on Firefox).

I have had friends search up a mane color and provide me with the link that has the mane color selected—going to that link shows as a blank search in Firefox, but as the correct search in Chrome.

I have noticed this problem for a couple months now (since April of 2022) but mostly ignored or worked around it. I'd always thought it was just a problem on my end. Since looking into it let me narrow down what was happening, I thought I'd report the issue.

If needed, the Firefox I'm using is updated to 107.0. My laptop is a 2020 Macbook Pro and the OS is Monterey 12.6.1. I was also able to replicate this using my phone (iphone 11 OS 15.7.1, same Chrome and Firefox versions) and got the same results as on my computer.


Any links relating to this bug? For example, if a particular lion is bugging, what is the link to that lion?

In Firefox browser, go to trading center or crossroads search. Select any mane color from the Mane Color box in the Appearance category. Press search button.
