Venturing into the human dense areas were difficult, having to cross roads and avoid the moving vehicles were nerve wracking at times. Using mostly alleys for protection on her commute, Kira finally reached her destination, a residential area. She walked around sticking close the the shadows and hidden areas from view. Sniffing at the air Kira picked up a variety of scents, one that stood out was strong scent of fish coming from a backstreet containing a dumpster. She wrinkled her nose in disgust, 'Yuck, something fresh would be better but it'll have to do'. Kira hadn't eaten in several days, she was weaker and thinner than what she'd like. Reluctantly she headed over and began to scavenge for the fish.

Finch kept exploring,more further then her house folks would like. she soon find a weird scent,almost like food or something. Finch followed the scent,soon getting low from another smell. she crept up were the two smells were and turned her at head at the sight of another cat,she stay as quiet as possible and watched the cat,her fur flattening down. she begin to look at the cat,she realized how skinny and thin the cat was. she would think to herself. why was the cat here? didn’t it have twolegs? could it be one of those clan cats she heard of or a passing loner. she shrug and kept watching the cat.

Kira finally found the smelly fish and ate it hurriedly, ears up and alert for any sounds of possible danger. After devouring her meal, the loner sat on the dumpster and attempted to wash the smell of fish off her snout. The meal wasn't particularly fulling but it would make due for now, the search for food was never ending. Kira felt the uncomfortable feeling of being watched, yellows eyes scanned the alley yet nothing noticeable stood out. She was used to this, living on the streets for a while now due to unfortunate circumstances has caused her to be hypervigilant constantly. Scenting the air brought a new discovery, the scent of another cat in the area. Jumping to her paws, the loner fluffed up her fur to appear bigger and intimidating. She let out a warning growl, "Show yourself wherever you are!".

Finch watched the cat eat,wondering how it was like to eat fish and everything. it looked better then the kibble her house folks give her everyday. she didn’t realized she forgot to hide her scent,she flinch after she heard the cat. she look at the cat as it fluffed up its fur and lowered to the ground. she didn’t even notice the cat looked bigger then before with there fur fluffed up. she walk out of the bushes and flattened her ears,staring at the cat with fear. ‘I didn’t mean to watch u! i was just wondering what u were doing and what u are..’

For a few heartbeats, Kira didn't move. Her narrowed eyes watched the other intently, staring at lowered frightened cat she deemed her not a threat. The loner lowered her hackles, and gave her fur a few licks to smooth it and buy herself some time to answer the others questions. How should she deal with this? Should she scare her off, Kira wasn't keen on making any friends at the moment. Sparring a glance at the intruder she noticed their pristine fur, it appeared well kept. No cat in the wild would look this nice, 'Definitely lives with humans', she thought. Fully relaxing the stray walked up towards the scared cat and sat on her haunches in front of her, wrapping her tail around her paws. "Well kittypet what did it look like?", a tone of disdain crept into her voice. "I was having dinner, the usual for a loner".

The kittypet looked up at her,staying still as the she walked up to her and sat down. Finch now knew this loner wasn’t a clan cat anymore and she didn’t look like she was going to hurt her. She sit up and flattened her fur,her ears still pinned from not fully trusting her. ‘It looked ok..’ She look at the loner and flicked her tail. ‘So i see your a loner?. i thought loners don’t visit here,why are you visiting so far away?’ Finch turned her head,confused why the loner was here.

"Well aren't you curious?", Kira raised herself up and circled around the she cat. Now that she was closer she could really take in the other's appearance. Clean fluffy fur and a well fed frame, the other cat was very pretty. 'I'm going to have fun with this one', the mischievous thought ran through her mind. As Kira circled around her, she let her tail wrap around the other causing light touches. "True, I'm not from here. I was looking for food.". Done with the circling she returned to the front of the grey and white cat and sat once more, "But you? Shouldn't you be inside with your two-legs?", Kira spat out the words 'two-legs'. Two-legs could never be trusted, especially their pets.

‘Well kinda.’ Finch watched as the she circled around her. she hiss after she felt the light touches of her tail and softly swatted at her tail,keeping herself calm. she calm down alittle after the she walked away from her and stared at her,fixing her fur with her tail. ‘I decided i wanted to go on a walk,i don’t have to stay inside all day.’ She slightly fluff up her fur from how the loner was being rude about her house-folks but she keep herself collected. ‘My house-folks don’t worry whenever i’m gone for long,as long as i come back ok and time for dinner.’

Kira was amused at the swat the she cat gave her, she couldn't help let out an amused thrill. "Oh the little kitty has a life of their own?". Her stomach let out a growl, the fish wasn't enough to hold back her hunger. She needed to hunt or scavenge for more food quickly, she couldn't spare time talking to a pet. These days she was mostly dumpster diving and needed to taste fresh meat again, but the hunger didn't leave her in top form. 'Maybe i can use her?', she thought. Kira padded past the slightly fluffed up cat, walking towards the opening of the alley before stopping and addressing the other. "Wouldn't you be a dear and help this sick and lonely cat catch some food?".

Finch rolled her eyes and watched the she walk a few steps. she flick her ear after the she asked her question,getting up and walked to her. ‘can’t y’all loners hunt for yourself?’ She looked at the she and glanced at a mouse hole,her tail twitching. ‘even if i decide to help you,what would i get in return? also don’t call me Dear,i have a name you know.’

What could she offer the other cat? She had food served to her daily, a warm shelter, and humans to pamper her. What could she give a cat who had everything? 'Maybe I can show her something new?', Kira thought. The loner let out a huff of air in frustration, "Look maybe we got off on the wrong paw. I'm Kira". Lowering her ears and tucking her tail in an attempt to look sad and small, "Leaf fall is here and it's making food scarce. I'm sick and need a big strong cat to do a little favor. ". Kira tilted her head in mock confusion, "What? You never caught any prey before? Also if you help I'll show you someplace interesting".

She sigh then looked around and begin to walk and flicked her tail to the loner. ‘Well,nice to meet you Kira. i’m Finch.’ The she smiled alittle,she was slowly starting to trust the loner but not quite. Finch sniffed around then walked under a fench,spotting a mouse and looked at Kira. ‘i can perfectly catch prey. but could you go over to were the hole is’ she flick her ear to the mouse’s den. ‘i don’t want the mouse to get away’ she crouch down and begin to stalk up onto the mouse.
