My goal is to breed every combo base with a wet season requirement. Ideally, I would like to have clean lions with rare traits, markings, and a pastel color scheme. But I'm going to focus on bases first. Cloudburst Albino × Chartreux, Korat, Maltese Snowflake Albino × Arctic, Aufeis, Frostbitten, Glacial, Ice Hoarfrost  Interstellar × Arctic, Aufeis, Frostbitten, Glacial, Ice, Snowflake Rime  Orchid × Arctic, Aufeis, Frostbitten, Glacial, Hoarfrost, Ice, Snowflake

The Start of the Project The kings are the cornerstone of this project. Without them this would get so much more expensive! I want to record any change with them and my thought process. At the moment of posting this he's 12 years, 11 months old. I'm going to have to retire him relatively soon and I haven't chose an heir yet. But I'm probably going to keep his appearance and get a different piebald. I usually breed Boba Tea with every Albino gal hoping for a Snowflake. So far he hasn't produced any combo bases for me. But he does produce Albino, Chartreux, Korat, Maltese cubs for Cloudburst breeding. He hasn't produced a Glacial gal yet. Tea Set Interstellar (White Skin) Eyes: Mist Mane Type: Thick Mane Color: Glacial Slot 1: Briar Shell (38%) Slot 2: Briar Coat (100%) Slot 3: Aufeis Inverted Zebra (100%) Slot 4: Ice Undershine (100%) Slot 5: Fuchsia Lace (100%) Slot 6: Fuchsia Marbled Unders (100%) Slot 7: Feline 7 White (100%) Slot 8: Glacial Points (100%) Slot 9: Nacre Crackle (100%) Slot 10: Nacre Lace (100%) Slot 11: Feline 9 Orchid (100%) G1 Primal 700+ Tea Set is my alt king. He shares the same markings as Boba Tea in slots 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, and 11. This means when Tea Set breed with Boba Tea's daughters they will be more likely to have higher opacity markings in those matching slots. Wet Season Jan 2 - Jan 6 This was a pretty typical wet season. I actually did a lot of breeding and buying outside of the project so money was tight. Notable Cubs https://www.lioden.com/lion.php?id=794181664640 Bred a Piebald (Harlequin) out of my cloudburst attempts. I haven't decided if I'm going to keep or sell. Bred some cubs with bo marks and traits but I think I'll only keep a couple and chase/sell the rest. Plans For Next Time I have a lot of lions on cooldown and cubs/adolescents waiting for next season. Two Interstellar and one Hoarfrost that Tea Set bred are going to Boba Tea's territory. I might need to age them up or use zebra hearts to keep everyone in heat at the right time though. I also ended up buying a cheap glacial cub and I won a cloudburst in a raffle! I recently spent a bunch of money on gems for February apps. The apps don't directly effect this project but I think it will be nice to have the options to customize my combo cubs' eyes. They'll be good to sell too. Not to mention, its cheaper and easier to get them now before the prices skyrocket. Anyway, I'm worried about finding Boba Tea a good heir. It looks like I'm going to have to save up 50+ gb for a clean high stat Piebald. This project isn't about stats but starting my alt account made me realize how miserable it is to have low stats. I don't trust Tea Set with battles. He loses all the time. It slows me down during events and quests.  0 players like this post! Like? |

Dry Season I was very busy during this season. I finished collecting all the gems for February crafting. I sold, retired, and chased a bunch lionesses. I bought clean albino cubs with breed only markings. I also bred some lions hoping to bring in some dawn and leonid marks into this project. I'm still in the process of rearranging lionesses on both accounts. I finally decided on a heir for Boba Tea. He's a G2 Piebald (Tovero) that started with 761 stats. He was only 30gb, not 50gb like I predicted. I plan to use stat items on him and patrol him until Boba Tea is 16 years old. I also bred a clean G3 blue poinsettia Piebald (Mottled) with neutron eyes, vitiligo marks, and a dawn mark. I put him up for sale. There was a lot of lions in heat at the same time so I was constantly sending stud requests. But these were mostly for lions not really in this project. I think I was trying to do too much at once. There was also a day I wasn't online much so I scrambled to get everything done before rollover but still forgot some things. I ended up using a zebra heart on the interstellar lioness that aged up in time for wet season. I decided against using aging crystals on the other interstellar and hoarfrost adolescents. I want to space their heats out so its not a complete feast or famine situation. I was actually pretty lucky when it came to cubs though! Three interstellar cubs were born. I think I'll keep two and sell the primal one but I haven't decided yet. Blueberry Tea, my Maltese gal, produced an vitiligo bomb albino with faience eyes. I might try to breed more vitiligo in the future since it harmonizes with my pastel aesthetic. Lionesses not a part of this project gave birth to a primal(ferus) with dawn markings and a piebald(bisected) with breed only traits. I'm considering base changing them to bring them into the project. I almost forgot to mention, the cloudburst I won in that raffle turned out to have Mane Fuzzy mutation! Tea Set finally hit 1000 stats by the way! Boba Tea is at 3599 stats at the time I'm typing this. Note: I'm writing this a few days after the wet season ends. I have to wait for pregnant lionesses to give birth to record the results on the table. I don't use IBF usually. I don't know if I made that clear in the beginning.  0 players like this post! Wet Season Feb 08 - Feb 11 Its a been awhile since I posted. A lot happened! This was Boba Tea's last wet season so I decided to do a bunch of reverse breedings. It was much harder to keep track of details so I waited until all of the cubs were 5 months before checking for combo bases. The very last cub I looked at was a Snowflake! Boba Tea was my favorite King so far. I'm really bummed he's gone. He passed his Piebald(Frail) 15 times! He only passed Glacial once though. He had children with Piebald (Slender), Overgrown Tongue, Folded Ears, and Achromia. He had children with special bases Ruffian, Phantom, Heavenly, and Interstellar. He had one kid with the Qahir combo base and of course one with the Snowflake combo base. He was really important to this project. He carried most of the financial weight of establishing Tea Set's pride. Boba Tea sold out his stud slots multiple times! He even reached 3963 stats and level 30! That being said there is something Boba Tea lacked. Rare markings! All of his were app marking and so are Tea Sets. I decided to attempt a king project. So far I know I want briar raffle marks (Tier 2) and maybe dawn, bandit or vitiligo. I've been collecting lions with briar marks. I've also bred a quad dawn mark girl and a triple bandit mark cub. I would like this new project king to replace Tea Set. He doesn't have any breed only traits. I think my ideal king would have pearl eyes, pale skin, briar color mane and maybe royal mane shape. Combined with the rare pink marks and interstellar base; I think he could become a great Hoarfrost breeder. But I'm getting ahead of myself. New King, Heir of Boba Tea My new king replacing Boba Tea is named Berry Tea. I really invested in his stats so he started at 1281 stats which is higher than my first king, Bubble Tea, ended his reign with. He has Piebald (Tovero) and is a G2. He has Boba Tea's appearance so there's really not that much to talk about. Notable Cubs The first Snowflake base of this project was from a reverse breeding. Boba Tea passed Piebald(Frail) to a cub. My cloudburst gal gave birth to a Maltese primal cub... And that's pretty it for cubs officially part of the project. Outside of the project we have an Ice cub from an Ethereal mother. I was trying to breed for Cairngorm. Boba Tea's daughter (and Bubble Tea's great granddaughter) gave birth to a Piebald(Frail) with mottled rosette. I might base change it to albino or sell it. (I'm counting cubs born during the dry seasons surrounding this wet season for cubs outside the project.) Other Notable Happenings I bought new clean glacial girls and an orchid gal. So this was the first time I bred for Rime. I actually forgot to nest a glacial and lost the nest and cubs. Its a shame but this means she will be in heat by the next wet season. I used a lot of black stallions, bundles and nesting material for all of these reverse breedings. It was worth it to give Boba Tea one last hurrah. Data I'm trying to make data more clear. Here's some extra info. 23 Reverse Breeding with Boba Tea 22 were with albinos for snowflake 1 with orchid for rime 3 Reverse Breeding with Tea Set 3 for Hoarfrost Snowflake 17 nests, 31 cubs, 1 combo Hoarfrost 4 nests, 6 cubs Rime 1 nest, 1 cub Total 22 nests, 38 cubs , 1 combo 0 players like this post!
