hi so i couldnt find a board that would best suit this topic so i figured that this one would work, but has anyone else been having issues with using debit cards from other banks to pay with paypal? i tried buying some gb the other day and it didnt go through, saying that the card was declined. tried it again today and its still saying the same thing. all of the info is correct, the card is active, and it does have money on it i dont have an account with paypal but i dont think thats the issue because of how ive used paypal with other vendors before without an account and it worked fine. i just want some gb   0 players like this post! I'm afraid I'm not too sure, as I have never personally had a problem with an international purchase using my card. :( You may be able to contact your bank and ask about it. I'm sure they'd let you do international purchases, it's probably disallowed by default just in case your information is stolen. 0 players like this post! I had to call my bank in the past to verify these transactions were in fact started by me/okay with me. Sometimes they only allow it for a certain period of time (some banks are odd), but they'll tell you the window they can leave purchasing open for. (I had one that allowed overseas purchases for 30 days at a time but then locked back because they just liked to be careful, I suppose? Not really sure.) I would suggest calling your bank and asking them how to proceed. :D 0 players like this post! Like? |
