First mutated lion in my den. ------------ Aekina is Kadek's adviser. She was born mutated in colour, and also blind. She has a shaking sickness that causes her to tremble and fall, often resulting in visions that she later relays to Kadek. She is not a cruel lion by any stretch of the imagination, but she does put up with Kadek's cruel acts because she believes that, despite everything, he can at least keep them all protected. Aekina has had her ups and downs in life. When she was young, she was unable to take care of herself, and was left for dead. A kind-hearted lioness with a limp took her in, and they survived together for a time. After the lioness died, Aekina wandered, an adolescent with nothing to really live for... plagued by her visions, uncaring whether she lived or died herself... But a young king took pity on her, bringing her into his pride, to his side, to his den.... To this day, though, she is haunted by the spirit of her former king, her saviour, Teejo. Her heart never could let him go...
