As the fires faded in the distance and the rains returned a cub was born with fiery orange fur. Her name was Out of the Fire, as a symbol of the fires leaving. Being the daughter of Darkness, the queen she was considered a princess. As the young cub she was she often ran around playing with the other cubs. One cub in particular, was her favorite. It was her adopted brother [Blind Bandit]. She tended to stay by his side to make sure he didn't wander off or run into something dangerous. She became her eyeless brother's eyes. They went and played with their older brother Baby Reaper whom took them beyond the pride's territory lines. Fire was growing into a very confident cub by the day. After all her mother was a very powerful lioness. Her confidence had lead her into the hands of poachers. She cried out for help, only to have her older brother save her. They never did tell anybody about how she got caught, but she began to be more careful and watchful. After all it could've been her eyeless brother that had gotten caught due to her carelessness rather than herself. She couldn't let that happen.
Since the poaching incident Fire grew insecure and timid. She questioned every decision she made and hid behind her mother and brother. But that didn't stop her from watching of Blind Bandit from a distance. She worried of his safety more than her own. Even in the harsh cold she would bring him to stay near her mother and brother to keep him warm. The snow covered lands made her stand out which made her worry more. The day came when her mom became the queen, Blizzard Reaper had told Fire not to fear the past, but to work hard to be strong for the future. However those words went in one ear and out the other, as she continued to hide behind her brother.
The day came that Baby Reaper had ventured off on a journey to better himself. He had left the pride for nearly a year. During that time Fire was more anxious than ever; yet, gradually day by day she grew more and more confident. She stayed by Blind Bandit's side and learned the trick to being a guardian. And once Snowstorm was born she had yet another little brother to watch over. One that was more chaotic than Bandit ever was.
When SnowStorm turned a year old he was already as big as she was and acted as if he were invincible. This lead to SnowStorm's big accident. He had charged right up to a full grown lion that looked like an angry saber tooth with spikes. The lion let out a loud roar and pinned SnowStorm down. SnowStorm let out a cry and struggled against the much larger lion. He thought he was going to die, until his older sister Fire had come to his rescue. She gained the courage and charged into the gigantic lion with all her might knocking him off. The other lion was in shock and watched the lioness with interest. He let out a chuckle, "Quite a courageous lioness taking on a Lion to protect a fool of a lion." Fire simply growled in response wanting nothing to do with the other lion. So he continued, "A foolish lion needs to learn his lesson, and perhaps he has... but I did not come here for trouble I've come to see my brother Blizzard Reaper." Fire let her guard down as Blizzard Reaper came from behind her speaking softly, "Looks like somebody finally found her inner Lion."
Days past since the incident and Fire couldn't help watching over all the cubs, worried that SnowStorm's or her own past would be repeated. Blizzard Reaper gave her the job of BroodMother. Fire had finally come out of the wildfire that burned within keeping her trapped. She was finally able to be what she was meant to be, a strong and powerful princess.
