Flare had been having an affair with another lion one day this lion got her pregnant she tried to hide it until she couldn't hide it no more soon the cub was born of course this made Papyrus suspicious since the cub looked nothing like him or any of the other cubs later on he caught Flare and the lion she was having an affair with and noticed that the lion looked more like the cub that had been born Papyrus was hurt and disappointed but he had decided to forgive Flare and allow her to keep the cub which was later on named Ruby for her red eyes Ruby wasn't like the other cubs she was very distant and always seemed to be hiding something and wasn't really honest of course this didn't stop the others trying to help her
