Biography
The daughter of the pride's first king, and his only successor. Juu was born to a spiteful lioness shortly before Alphalo's death. It is said that her father's final gift was a kind heart, and the knowledge she was loved. When he died, her mother refused to acknowledge Bingwa as the newest king and left the pride, taking Juu with her.

The stories frame Juu as taking her mother's abuse for years as she wandered alone, hunting for the both of them without complaint. For all that time, it was her sense of humor and love of the world around her that kept her afloat. She was marked with scars from failed hunts and her mother's unpredictable anger, but still kept strong. When her mother died, Juu returned to the pride of her birth, where she was welcomed back with love and acceptance. Her time as a lone lioness made her a wise member of the pride with a unique perspective, and she shared many techniques about scouting, sneaking, and hunting alone.

She is used to teach cubs about the importance of working through hard situations, and the value in lessons that outside perspectives can bring. In hard situations, pride members are encouraged to jest and laugh, just like their ancestor Juu would do.
