Story: Despite her short stature, the Empress holds immense influence over the the Deathlord's coastal borders. Upon the expansion of Tamashikuioni's territory, the proud clan encountered a bustling port of trade along the desert's river. At the end of the twisting nile laid an impressive cave filled with jewels and rare flora, trinkets and delicacies galore. To the King's surprise, he found a dwarf lioness atop the proclaimed throne. Her pelt was blazing red with flecks of crystal blue clinging to her undersides. Though her dark stripes had seemingly dulled with age, her regality still burned with a youthful fervent. With a spotted consort snuggled by her side, Saltanat addressed the foreign visitors, remaining in a lax position. Perplexed, Tamashikuioni attended her council, offering surmountable compensation in exchange for the Queen's compliance. Saltanat listened thoughtfully, her stony expression altered only to deliver the occasional disciplinary snap at her overzealous cubs when their tussling got out of hand. After a long discussion, the two leaders came to a mutual agreement to merge their territories. The Deathlord offered the protection of his finest huntresses to guard and patrol the river islands, reducing the amount of pillaging from outsiders. In return Saltanat shared her wealth with the immortal King, fueling his ever growing thirst for power.
